I'll be fine. I'm just venting. I seriously feel that USA is too accomodating to immigrants. 85% of us speak English. F-ing learn English. My boyfriend's dad speaks English. His grammar isn't perfect and he has a thick Chinese accent but he can get his point across.
My boyfriend's parents have been here 30 years. That's plenty of time to learn English.

Yes, it's true the country was founded and built by immigrants, that's fine, but for god's sake the main language is English D=, learn it! My dad gets by just fine, just has a thick accent. My mom can as well but she annoys me a little when she always asks me to fill stuff out for her @[email protected] Especially after she boasts about how awesome her English is LoL.

My dad is from Puerto Rico, and my mom is from the Dominican Republic ^_^. They've been here forever @[email protected] My spanish, is ok though, I understand it, can read it, but I can't write it too well (accent marks are the bane of my existence XD) and I sound funny when I speak it ^^, but I hate when it get looks for it though. If you want perfect spanish don't look for it here XD
