Story:

The planet was dying; pollution, radiation, war…they were killing her. The Human race did everything they could to save their planet, but in the end, it was too late. In the end…she died, and without her life giving bounties, so were her children. So the human race had to leave as the survivors filled ship after ship and sent them into space, in hopes of finding a new home for the Human race.

Asleep in cryo-stasis, the U.S.S. Genesis was struck by a meteor, destroying her navigational systems and setting her adrift in space. As the decade’s passed, her crew and passenger’s slept, with no awareness of the passage of time. But as she plummeted into the atmosphere of a quiet planet, her systems stirred the crew from their sleep.

Where had they landed? What was this planet? What creatures and beings lived in the lush forests of this M-class planet? And why had they woken with these strange and unnatural abilities?

Genre: Sci-fi and Fantasy

Setting: A lush green planet. This RP will involve fantasy and science fiction elements. Races can be made up by the players as long as they are approved and fit into the world well. Magic and other mystical things are welcome.

RULES:

1. Follow Mene's rules on posting etc.
2. No God moding, meta-gaming, or controlling other people’s characters.
3. You must post a full paragraph at least! that's 4-5 lines mind you!
4. Post at least once every couple days, and don’t leave people behind, wait for them. Do something else in character to pass the time if you need to.
5. PG-13 rating. Romance is allowed, but no graphic stuffs.
6. Keep out of character context to a minimum please, and if you do need to say something OOC, label it as such.
7. Saiytanya is the boss of the RP!
8. This is a literate/semi RP spell checking and grammar must be checked, and you must be able to act your character out accordingly.

Job/Occupation/Skills: Captain of the U.S.S Genesis, skilled in hand to hand combat, all manner of projectile weapons, and covert operations.
Personality: Murdock is a bit of a roguish captain, loving to joke and tease his crew. But his light personality is not always so. When needed, Murdock can take charge and be extremely cool-headed and mature. He earned his way to his position and it shows when it matters most.
Background: Murdock was the son of the (very) late General William Murdock, the leader of the former HWRP (Humans for World Regeneration and Preservation) and so much was expected of him as he was growing. He followed in his father’s footsteps and climbed the ranks of the HWRP while still leaving room for good relations with the rest of the world earning him first choice of ships to Captain and first choice of crew for his ship.

Age: 24 yrs
Job/Occupation/Skills: First Mate Good at guns... Lots of guns.. Ships guns, pistols, rifles, lasers, whatever it is she can shoot it! Also good at tactics and statistics.
Personality: She seems quiet at first, but then watch out! she has a bit of a wild side to her. She loves to be a bit cocky when she's comfortable, sarcastic, but ready to help a person out. Loyal to her captain to a fault.
Background: Her father a general, her mother an ambassador, she was taught protocol, statistics, tactics, and anything else her parents though necessary since she was minutes old. she was hold to high standards, as he parents had high hopes for her as the world crumbled. They also showed her much love show so she followed their teachings and gave into the amounts of pressure. She kept her high spirits and cocky attitude and went into military school, there she passed with high enough colors to gain her a higher rank and was admitted the position of first officer to the U.S.S. Genesis
Powers: (if any) She has the ability to create and manipulate smoke. She can also giver herself wings made out of them and fly.

Meaning of name: Don't know....but I like the song!

Job/Occupation/Skills: Chief Engineer
Personality: Loud, proud, perverted(To both girls and boys), happy, perky, energetic, tom boyish.
Background: Leila spent nearly her whole life at her fathers car shop, learning to fix up cars at a young age. Her mother had died when she was born and so her papa was her hero. She gladly learned as much as she could from him, not just cars and mechanics, but also her social skills. (Which probably explains her tomboyish and pervy attitude) Following her love for things that smelt like motor oil, she went on to engineering school and ended up working on the ship. She has a handheld computer that she named 'Cecil' who speaks with a male british accent.
Powers: They used to call her sparky because of her attitude and the fact that no matter what she was dealing with she ended up shocking herself. Now it's because she is able to shoot lightning. No kidding. But only if she has enough conduction. Most of the time it will only come up as a tiny static shock. She also has super strength, which really helps with her job!
