Erm, Raine.
Kuiyeowo Sarang is a Cafe. Not a diner. There are many differences. Kuiyeowo Sarang is more like this: http://www.mysoju.com/the-1st-shop-of-coffee-prince/ Also, remember your character is Korean and thus any American band other than the super popular would be extremely rare to even be recognized by a Korean. Seeing as I have never heard of either that you mentioned, Sungbae most likely would not know of them either. If you tell me the type of music/artists, I can find you a Korean equivalent. Also, useful info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_South_Korea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_in_Korea I'm not sure how Christianity is treated in Korea, but I know in Japan Christmas is more revered as a date night than a holy event even by the Christians there. Also, by the personality of Hyunsu, the owner, and the age of the regulars, the servers of Kuiyeowo Sarang would most likely be in the teenage young adult age range. |
So.... I've just typed a little over a page in word... and need to revise... I hope that Chunho's first post will be good~ ^ ^;;
And I'm not used to posting massive stuff like this so I'm kinda iffy about it... > >;; Let me know if I need to change anything or if parts aren't really easy to understand and I'll go in and fix it up. :] Edit: How would you write an apology in Korean? I know how to say it... and it sounds kinda like "Chwaesonghapnida" (like... chway-song-hab-ni-da ... ish.... I might be able to write it in Korean given enough time, but.... I dunno.....I think it's a more formal apology than... the one that starts with a 'b' sound... ^ ^;;; ) |
The post requirement is only 3 paragraphs with 6-7 sentences. Soooo, 18 sentences total. The posts are enormous mostly because they're introductory posts. Well, except for mine.. I stuck with three paragraphs. >>;;
|
Ohh, okay. That makes me feel a bit better... :]

I did a quick search though. Mian = sorry Mianhe = I'm sorry jwesongheyo/jwesonghamnida = polite/very polite shillehamnida = Excuse in polite way Mianheyo is what I have heard the most of, though. |
Okay, thanks!
I wasn't sure how to type it out. O: I wonder why it's spelled with a 'j' sound, though... It kinda sounds like a 'ch,' too... x__x;; (One of my closest friends is Korean, so I was learning from her mom for a while. I'm not that good, though....) Okay~ Post should be up! If there's anything that needs correcting, let me know~ ^ ^ |
Woot for interaction. : D
I'll start typing up my reply in a sec. :3 |
Ah~ I fail at life. I had wanted all the cafe workers save Hyunsu to be NPCs, but I didn't even pay attention to that part of your profile. D:
Oh well, too late now. xD |
D:!!
Sorry! I didn't know. ;__; If you want, I can change it...? |
D: Don't worry about it. It was my fault anyway. ^^;
|
Noooo. D:
No changy. My not-so-impressive post is almost done. XD |
XD;;
Okay~ I'm excited to see what happens next. >w> But, should I post again tonight or let other stuff happen first..? |
Posted. I'm sorry if there's any grammar errors. I'm still working on that freakin' essay and it has dulled my grammar skills. XD
|
It made me loller~
|
Aww~ That's such a cute post!
If it's okay, I'll post again. :] Lemme throw on some more classical music~ .... It's funny... that I need to listen to classical music to channel Chunho. (/never had to do anything special to channel a character before.) |
Thanks. :3 I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
I do that with my music too. Some of my characters have their own playlists that I listen to when I use them. |
RAWR! *terrorizes* I'm finally home from work. *dies*
|
D:! *is terrorized?*
Welcome back~ Did you have a good day? :] |
Yes actually. It was slow and I just spent it talking to my boss.
My mom bought me a burger! And she remembered to get it junior sized and with cheese! Yaaaays! |
お帰りなさい、パエルーさん。おげんきですか。
ねむいです〜:sleep: ------------ Welcome back, Pearl. How are you? I'm sleepy~:sleep: ---- Haha, practicing my japanese. |
@Dancer
I recognized some of those! Yay me! The one day a month I've been trying to learn japanese for the last 4 years was not in vain. lol |

Well, I'mma got beat up some hay. 'Night. ^^ |
Night, Dancer! Have a good sleep. I hope you win that fight.
|
I.... got distracted by family guy... XD;;
and I'm glad you had a good time at work. :] My old job was kinda like that... except my boss usually left half an hour to an hour after I got there, so once I was done with stuff, I talked with my coworkers a bunch. It was a lot of fun. Now I still get to visit with people the entire time I work. O: And on Friday I get to make sugar cookies~ Yaaay! XD;;; (used to work doing gym day care, now I'm helping out at a preschool. How about you?) |
I'm retail. Just like Sunhee! It's actually not a bad job, I get along great with my coworkers and my boss. She comes to me for medical and relationship advice. The medical I get, I'm studying to be a nurse. The relationship... I've been single for like... 2 years and don't have a history of long relationships. Apparently I give good advice though! Do as I say, not as I do I suppose. It's cool, we're all in our twenties so we basically play 90% of the time.
And... YAY FAMILY GUY! |
