*bounces back* Runescape? I played it too ^_^ it was my first mmo. unfortunately i played on dial up, froze, and got pk'd. i lost all these rare and valuable items some guy gave me. i felt so bad i just quit. never looked back. now...i play too many mmorpgs to even name :sweat: all free of course. i even played WoW and Ragnarok on free servers.

lol. yeah. i learned the word "nooblet" from Runescape. people there are asses on a whole. but it's pretty much the same anywhere i suppose. you gotta really trick your character out and kill like a madman...or madwoman...if you want respect in most games. it's like being in da hood >.> or relatively close to a hood-like area.

meh. i'd say yes. but it's so repetative. i found once i played one kind of character...i played em all. the quests are boring and people keep PKing and corpse camping. not to mention it seems the only way for a lvl 60+ is to spam dungeons. i'm definitely not the dungeon spamming type. hell i don't really like party play. i rather just explore honestly. i guess i'm a rogue...or perhaps a paladin type. as a blood elf pally, i'd just hit hard and heal myself when i got hit a little harder. the buffs were amazing and i hear blood elf pally's get a major boost in the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King. you just gotta find a good freeserver too. one that doesn't have a glitch in every quest...

i was kinda waiting for the others to post. good posts get my brain going and then i connect things and make it up from there. it's like you guys supply the puzzle pieces and i figure out what the heck the picture is suppose to be.

Let's see we have:
1. music that everyone can hear now but at first only Lusalma was really affected by it.
2. it's giving Alak nightmares to keep him away from helping the girls...as if he could >.>
3. there is a music box in a back room
4. the shop is totally freaky and shows people what they desire most when they look at the sign
5. it made time go by quickly for Alak and Lusalma.

I see. A lot of this seems to deal with illusions and time. So it could be an evil magician or illusion mastering demon that likes to eat women ;D It lures them with music like the pide piper. Oh I like it! And he could be somehow a follower of Drakken (who I'm probably going to make the big daddy of baddy) or at least know about him...ran into him...suffered the scars of meeting him because to Drakken he's just a low ranking demon with cheap parlor tricks. Either way, before he's offed, he could give some clue as to Drakken's whereabouts.

But this demon has to be connected to Lusalma somehow too, after all, she seems to be the most affected. Perhaps healers are particularly delicious to him?

Oh, and I think mentioned before, but I might not have...The reason Alak saw it as an herb shop as well even though he wasn't desiring herbs was because he wasn't really "desiring" anything at the time but to go where Lusalma went. As you'll learn, Alak's a pretty influential character. He does keep quoting past lessons as you've seen.

Now, for a pick and name for this Illusion Demon. In fact, now that I think about, it could be a female demon that eats pretty women for beauty enhancement. Healers tend to have a special boost in that beautification i suppose o.O? Anyway, the shopkeeper was her mindless soulless servant.

i just found a stray kitten. named him rorshach. he's a gray tabby...but he might be mixed with something. i think he's got a cold too. he's already attached to me and it's only been a day. oh and it seems he loves my hair scrunchie right now. unfortunately i can't keep him =( it's illegal to have pets other than fish in the dorms. so i'm trying to find someone who will take care of him T_T i wish i could keep him though. it's hard not to get attached...damn...he owned my scrunchie. oh yeah, and i have to pay for damages and it seems rorshach loves scratching things =_=
