This is my little brain child of expanding forum rpg's in a way that we can all enjoy. Instead of making an avatar to be just like yourself, trying playing on the forum as how your avatar would be :P Make a story and live it out in the setting of Mene Kingdom. BRAINSTORM

Currently I'm working on TWO very cool ideas for the RP.

1st: King's Tournament
I'd like this to be a game we can all participate in (well not me...the king can't play in his own tournament and unfortunately neither can Alak.) and hopefully earn cash. The winner, I'd like, may win gold or knighthood, or whatever it is we agree on. However, to make it work I need people to donate. I'm thinking the battle will be a fight-based roleplay, or whoever can get the higher score on Space Invaders (or a game of their choice) in a set period of time wins. 7 games...7 days maybe?

For example, it may be set up like so:

Rules:

1. Player must post a screenshot of their score, along with the date and time they played, to qualify.
2. Player with the most high scores wins Grand Prize.
3. In the event of a tie, the player with the highest total score wins. (think this will work or do I need another plan?)
4. There will be 2 runner ups who will win a lesser prize.
5. Entry fee = X gold (maybe 50 or 100?)
6. Proceeds go to Grand Prize (if you want to donate some to me that will be marvelous =3)

Day 1: Snake
Contestants
A = 5680 pts
B = 2000 pts
Winner = A

Day 2: Space Invaders
Contestants
A = 5000pts
B = 10000pts
Winner = B

...

Day 7: Chopper Challenge

2nd: Mene Mythology.
Every world has some myths and legends, right? Why not Meneshwa? I'm thinking of using forum moderators as gods an goddesses and coming up with zany stories about what they're the god/goddess of and how they came to be. It's not important to the RP, but I figured it'd be fun to pray to Kale to not delete your post and cause you to lose gold.

To make this work, I'd need a list of the moderators and what they do, as well as who started Meneshwa. They could be like the Zeus of Mene to whom our avatars pray good fortune.

hey Talitha. do you want Geo to be your sub character? If you think he might play a larger role, then feel free to do so. you can also tell us more about Alana's father. I'd like to figure out a position he has for the king.

He is a demon of sorts. But hes a shapshifter so all the king knows is hes a human. He looks like this

Hes strong and talented and im supposeing the king might have him as body guard. just a guess but Its up to you honestly. I can play Alanas dad to if you want.

What was your first RP, fan-based or original?

Mine was Inuyasha. I played Sesshomaru and Shippo. Two dramatic opposites. It was fun. I recently got into yaoi rp's for the challenge (not really a yaoi girl but I can appreciate a picture with two hot men in it). I also am working on an Aladdin rp where I play Mozenrath.

What type of characters do you prefer to play?

I suppose I like villains and buttholes best. So Alak is kind of a new thing for me. The sweet and calm, slightly taciturn but mostly just introspective, guy. I realize I rarely play girls...hmmm perhaps I have penis envy after all?

I first played Teen titans and still do. Im great at Raven and also Terra. Guess its cuz Im crushin on beast boy. I also have a oc for titans named alana btw all my Ocs are named Alana Vartos. Shes beastboys sister. Ive been role playing for 7 years now so im pretty good at it.

I perfer neutral characters. I dont like being evil but I dont like being a goody two shoes either.

lol. beast boy O.o? interesting. I've always liked Nightwing. Robin in Teen Titans is a douche though. Have you seen the episode where Starfire goes to the future and meats Nightwing? He's ubberness <3!

No I never saw that episode But when it comes to raven im a proffesional. Im great at star wars. Im thinking of starting an inuyasha role play and right now im trying to get people in my egyptian role play and my medieval high school one.

I see how this challenge majigger works. ok so if we do the tournament this way, then we could have the players to challenge each other (they'd be randomly assigned). Whether the player wins or loses that bloc, they go on to challenge their next opponent. This would give players a bit of an advantage in choosing the games they're good at...but i suppose that'd make it unfair to the challengee...hmmm?

type it out? type what out? what do you mean o.O? type out the score they got? they could always lie about it so I'd rather see a screenshot (or print screen).

no I mean type out the tournament. If its archery or whatever. Or maybe a forum game like hangman to figure out who wins.

hmm I was thinking a writing battle at first. it'd be a choose your weapon type of battle of course ;) the king wants to see what kind of people his neighbors have. it's not only to reestablish relations but to gage potential ally or enemy forces. bah, i watch too much Naruto >.> anywhoot, i'd still need other people's opinion on it when we get more. i suppose whatever garners everyone more cash. probably games if it lasts a week...but now that I think about it, that takes too long =/. people can't get on everyday. So I suppose we'd have to settle on a single day that everyone can get on around the same time. That's why I'd have around thanksgiving. the majority of people are off of school or work that time right? rawr. brain wheels turning.

I live in Central. But I think I'd rather be in Pacific right now because it's almost 5 am for me =_= gotta get up in 5 hours =(.

ack now i remember!...um <.< >.> oh right! I kinda didn't leave a clear opening in my last post for you =( Alana can do whatever it is she needs to take care of for now whilst Alak and Lusa browse. I think I'd rather them meet up when night falls to go to her place. It'd be strange if she suddenly stopped checking citizens in. Alak would definitely get suspicious. Be sure to tell him when and where to meet her if that is the path you choose to take. Of course, she could ask for leave and be our personal tour guide ;) As far as her needing a "job"...well I'm sure that mysterous herb shop can come into play somehow *mwahahaha*

I'm thinking a minor villain that lures people with the music...or maybe a mystical manor woman within a music box who is looking for people with specific skills for a mission, and only they will be drawn to the music. we don't have to go in now though. I think at night is a better more auspicious time for such things. That clerk was too jumpy to be Kosher. Either way, i'm sure assassin extrodinaire would like to know more about this mysterious shop. Perhaps it doesn't sell herbs at all. Perhaps the sign shows whatever the person who hears to music likes most. And the shop shapes to be the same. The reason Alak would see herbs is because he was with Lusa, only partly heard the music, and isn't very particular about things. o.O I like it!

And Tali would like to draw out the lovely kingdom? Excellente! I have written up a brief set up of the kingdom in my last post and I'll probably move it near the top of the first post. I leave everything else up to you ;) Oh, and feel free to post a picture for Geo here as well. He just might become useful. I also opened a position that I think Alana's father might be occupying. General of Military Affairs. He can cause much mischief there. Up to you.

I like the idea of women being lured by some evil villian who maybe uses the box for mind control and maybe causing the girls to try to kill the king or somthing and your character having to rescue us would be nice. How about the music playing tonight and they happen to meet up while following th music. theres so many options ftw

as for the map give me a few days and ill have it drawn up. week at the most then ill trace it in pen and scan it and then post the pic here for you to add to the top posts.

hehe, that sounds like fun! My first role play was original, demon kids in school >.< sorry I didn't know this was up!! Now I do though and I think that is so cool!! Anyway, the mystery I was talking about with Lusalma is the fact that she doesn't really know she has Communication powers, strange things happen and she knows it's her but she doesn't really know why. Also she might be looking for family, outside of those who kicked her out. The Singing Shop can be used like you suggested, I think that will put in good conflict but I started it because I wanted to add a pet, but I didn't have the money at the time so I have to wait (put it with my avatar). Also is there some Healers guild or some such, or can Lusalma do a Florence Nightingale and Revolutionize the world!! MUAHAHA!!! *cough cough* yeah...anyway if there's a tournament, I can't really go, unless it's a group, because Lusalma is a Healer not a fighter....healer I think is more accurate than Nurse in medieval times... hmmm >.><.<
