Hey all! I'm going to join soon (am working on my backstory now)

Would any of the Castle Vampires like to have a rogue, run-away half-vampire son of about 28-29? (He ran away about 10 years ago, and he's traveled the world becoming a Vampire hunter)

I've been debating it for a while, whether or not my character could be the parent to your's or not.

If no one else would want to be one of the parents, or if you'd rather not have your character's parents to be deceased, then I wouldn't mind playing the part.

But when your character joins, since they're the son of one of the clan memebrs, then everyone who's a vampire in the role-play and has been living in the castle for ten or so years would have to already know about your character, or know your character personally.


EDIT: Since Devilfern hasn't posted yet, and I don't know when she'll be posting, I'm just going to go ahead and post and kind of move on with my character.

Devilfern, if you see this, I hope you're not upset. Maybe you'd like to just catch up with my character later or something. C:

That is fine. In fact, knowing the people of the Castle and have them know me is going to make things interesting.

I'd prefer an alive parent (so I can dialog with them when and if I return to the castle) but if no one volunteers, I'm fine with them being gone.

And would he have the same last name as Helen? Or would he have the same last name as his father?

And what would be the father's name, anyway?

I was also thinking that since it's a little uncommon for vampires to get married, instead they just usually have life partners, so if you would like your character to have a different last name then that'd be fine.

I forgot what else I was going to ask... Eh, it'll come to me later.

Basically. While he wouldn't mind the natural boost to his strength, or the power, he's never been that drawn to blood. He's not disgusted by it or anything, he's just never wanted it. Also, he was never happy with the vampire's tendency to entrap people to feed on.

That depends on who actually raised him. He would call himself after his father if he was the one he spent most of his time with, where as if Helen was the one who had actually cared for him, he would take her last name.

As for the father, I figure since Helen slept with him, you'ld probably want to figure out what he would have been like. If you want me to do it (or at least pitch in) I'll be happy to. I just wasn't sure if you'ld want to.

I think I'll let you figure out who you would have preferred raised you more and which last name to choose along with what kind of vampire the father was.

Actually, I was mostly setting up Josh and Valdac an opportunity to show they're willing to give their lives to protect you even though you're a vampire, and also to show that the Alpha can keep the werewolves under control when he needs to, basically to show he's the Alpha for a reason. ^_^ BTW Tali, we're all kinda worried, you haven't posted since the 10th and the story's kinda waiting on you: Darkest's character started talking to you and we've been held up until you answer. Did something happen? Let us know what's up when you get back!

Yeah, Tal hasn't logged on for twelve days. Her character was really important to the story, but since she's been gone for so long, I usually remove that person from the role-play, but she's one of my friends, so if she logs on and wants to jump right back in, then I'll be fine with it.

But for now, I think that everyone should just kind of move on without her right now. Maybe just ignore the fact that Alana came to the werewolf camp. I really don't have any other solution than that since we need the role-play to pick up a little bit.

I mean, if you guys are okay with moving on. But I'd really like if all the characters got together in the same area. Or, almost all the characters. Siegfriend and Helen can't get to the werewolf camp, so any ideas?

I'm sure Cal's going to soon be calling for some kind of move against the Vampires, so we'll see.

Hey, sorry I've been on so sporadically, my computer is in a state of *ker-HURK-blargh*, so I can only get on for a little while before and after work (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday). Hopefully I'll be getting it fixed sometime this week. Fingers crossed! ^_^

The repair place called and left a message asking me to call back, but I accidentally deleted the message which had the number I was supposed to call, so I'll be going in this afternoon to see what the call was about. Hopefully it's to say "your computer is fixed and we saved all your data" not "your computer is dead and your data is gone, here's a bill for 100 something dollars" >.<

Hahahahah! Well, hopefully everything works out and they don't bill you a shit load for doing nothing.

Computer is back!! Data, not so much. Of my nearly 200 gigs of data, they managed to save about 6. All of my programs, gone; I'm going to have to pirate FlashMX and PrintMusic if I want to do graphics or music again (or I could suck it up, buy a MIDI cable, and learn to actually play my keyboard straight to GarageBand...) (please note: I legitimately owned both programs before my hard drive went kaputz). I'm also going to have to refind all of my bookmarks, including 40 something webcomics I checked daily... pain in the neck that's going to be. Luckily my iTunes music and most of my already done artwork was on my external drive, or on my desktop (which was among the 6 gigs they saved) so it's not as bad as it could be. >sigh<
