Personality:
Helen has a strange personality. She's definitely one-of-a-kind and doesn't care what anyone thinks about her. At times, she's very kind, smiles a lot, shows she cares and even laughs. Other times, she refuses to even speak to anyone or see them. She's hateful, rude, and destructive. Though, a lot of her personality is based upon how much blood she has had. When she lacks blood, Helen gets angry, when she has it, she is happy. A lot of the time she takes out her anger on other people, but really doesn't mean to. She speaks her mind and will snap at someone when they annoy her, without any hesitation. When Helen wants something, she doesn't let anyone stop her. Then again, she is also very charming and polite when she chooses to be.
Biography:
Helen was the firstborn daughter to a royal family. Treasured by both her parents, family and many others for her wit, charm and beauty, she was pampered day in and day out. Every day was like the last and every day was like the next. Nothing new ever happened. She had the same boring friends, the same boring studies, the same boring servants. Nothing was every fun. The only thing Helen really enjoyed doing was going into the village with the servants when they would do errands. She would sneak off and wander around the marketplace, looking at all the odd things people were selling. One man was selling a map. He told Helen that it led to the Crimson Lake and human immortality. The servants would see her talking to the man and snatch her away before he could finish his story. Helen was so entranced by the thought of immortality that she came into town every time the servants did.
With every visit, the man told Helen more and more about the Crimson Lake. Within a few weeks, she already knew its exact location, how to get there and how long it would take. She just wasn't sure what would happen when she got there. The man never told her how one would get immortality. Years passed and the man disappeared, no longer selling maps or other odd artifacts and no longer telling her stories. The only thing she kept in memory of him was the stories he told her and the beautiful garnet ring he made her. Helen still came into town every week with the servants, searching for the man or others talking about the legendary Crimson Lake. And as luck would have it, a group of young men stopped and were camping outside of the village. They were good looking, so Helen couldn't help herself from eavesdropping on their campfire conversations. While she was listening, the Crimson Lake came up. The young men were actually travelling through, on their way to the lake and human immortality. Helen could not believe it. In the early morning, she came back and snuck into one of their wagons. It wasn't until the next day they found her snoozing underneath a large piece of cloth.
Immediately, the men knew who she was and one volunteered to take her back to her family. On horseback, the two rode off into the opposite direction of the lake. Helen knew they were less than a day away from human immortality and refused to give up now. Once they were a ways away from the others and alone, she told the man to stop because she was feeling ill. He did, got off the horse and was attempting to help her down right before Helen kicked him in the chest and knocked him down, stole his horse and turned the horse around, towards the lake and leaving the man in her dust. Smiling the whole way, her and the horse raced to the lake before the men could catch up with her. It became nightfall quickly and she knew she was only miles away. Once she reached the location she was told so much about, she got off the horse and tied it to a nearby tree. A mansion was nearby. Helen was confused and aloud asked to no one in particular, "Where is immortality?" She was answered by a vampire tackling her to the ground and draining her blood and turning her into a vampire too.

Name: Siegfried Bonne
Age: Appears to be in mid-twenties, is actually 123 years old
Race: Vampire
Occupation: "Professional" lord, and the librarian of the Castle's book collection
Talents: Very gifted in languages. He speaks German - his first language - English, Czech, French, and some Russian. He's also a talented fencer.
Likes: Fine wines, young human ladies, music, expensive clothes, and old books.
Dislikes: Dirt, humans in general, people that are rude to him, not getting what he wants, heat.
Power: The power of persuasion. He can use his voice to manipulate people's minds, but it isn't very powerful. He can influence people towards a decision but they have to be weak-minded.
Personality: Siegfried is very arrogant. He likes to hear himself talk, because he thinks he's very clever. He is rather cunning and certainly does a lot of reading, but he's not as smart as he thinks he is. He is a braggart and is rude and snobbish. He likes to manipulate others to get what he wants, and is rather successful at it, but if it doesn't work he is willing to kill for it. He's somewhat solitary, not really by choice but because no one likes to be around him for very long. He loves word games and challenges of intellect, but he's a sore loser. He makes and breaks promises when it is convenient to him. Most people would describe Siegfried as an arrogant snob, but he can also be very charming and witty. If he likes someone he'll take great pains to make sure they like him too.
Biography: Siegfried was not born a vampire. He was born in Vienna to poor parents, but traveled often once he came of age, studying language and local myths. He was particularly intrigued by tales of the supernatural - which lead him to the story of the mystical lake with it's golden castle. Finding it became a passion of his, and so he traveled across Europe, intent on discovering it and the true story behind the myth. He was never to find it as a human, but was attacked in a small village one night when he rested in an inn. He was the only one in the inn that night that was spared by the ravenous vampire, who thought it would be a fun joke to turn him into a vampire himself. Becoming a vampire activated the naturally shy and gentle Siegfried's more vicious side, and as soon as he had recovered his strength he hunted down the vampire that turned him and burned the vampire to death. After he had grown into his new found abilities, Siegfried once again turned to his studies, discovering happily that his mental abilities had increased with his change. Having acquired a new perspective on the myth of the lake and its castle, Siegfried was able to locate it and was pleased to find that it actually housed his own kind rather than gods. He has remained in the castle ever since, taking care of the ancient library inside and tormenting whatever humans venture inside.
Appearance: Siegfried (yes, it is Raphael from Soul Calibur 4, I couldn't find a picture that suited him other than that, heehee)
