I think I've only seen about two people roleplay like that on the roleplay forums, though never on any of mine. Of course if they do the * * in OOC for actions I don't mind. Like:

(*Slaps person with a dictionary* Now that I've got your attention my character needs your response. XD)

That I don't mind so much since it's not actually part of the roleplay. I do that quite often myself, though when people do it in character it just drives me nuts. ><'

Lol I'm doing something similar, though I'm also using a Japanese dictionary to help. What I really want to try out is that Rosetta Stone thingy and see how well that works.

Lol Rosetta Stone is a language learning program. Apparently it's had a good rating and success rate in teaching people how to speak and I think write in other languages.

Well fixed it ^^; For my character this is like so easy o.0 n.n Though zeak could have easily killed them... right? I mean he was like all that great and powerfull, thinking he was stronger than talon and all o.o If that was true then penelope should have never got hurt, I know ur stirring stuff up but still >.>

Hmm.... nah, if they would put up a fight, and then die it wouldnt matter.

It would be more exciting than randomly have a 'Oh you're dead in one hit, sucks to be you' sort of thing. After all the point of drawing out a character that's going to die in the end's life is to make it an entertaining read for others and yourself as well. It gives you a chance to let your creative juices flow. Really just about anything that simply happens too easily isn't very exciting. It's one of the reasons I refuse to let anyone heal Talon. :D It's also one of the reasons I had Lucifer interfere so much too. It leads people to think and be creative and that's what makes a roleplay good and interesting in my opinion. :D
