BAM. Title basically says it all. I am considering putting together a long term role play thread for literates. There are a few ideas i'm sampling in my mind, pulling from my plot archives (scary place if you've ever been, scaaary place...) and have tugged upon a few that might churn interest after a bit of re-vamping.

So, point blank, once more, i'm just looking for interest right now before I even begin to materialize the organized chaos that is an rp thread.

Thus far I have considered a few variations on an in depth Medieval Fantasy thread, an apocalyptic zombiesque thread, as well as a modern fantasy science-fiction thread.

Comments, ideas, interest? Pie? Hmmm... leftover pumpkin pie.....

Well, I actually have a few in that category. I really think I just spelled that wrong. Anywho. One is a story plot i'm fooling around with involving lykae, vampyre and mortals (oh my!), as well as any other race possible, but it really breaks away from stereotypes and such. A group known as The Riders (possibly cliche? :(), once broken, reunites to well vanquish an oncoming evil. Kind of a very basic plot. Another would be a more adventure-take-it-as-it-comes-with-only-an-ultimate-plot type deal. It actually features warring thieves guilds and troubles that ensue after a sacred artifact, The Black Rose, is stolen. Those are my two main ones but i'm still digging through archives. ^^

Hmm. Interesting. Do you have any more details concerning the first idea with the Riders? Also, do you plan to make this an RP with many, many people, or just a few?

There are many minute details concerning The Riders, the story, what happened, what is happening, but those are best discussed either through PM or otherwise.

As for people, it would depend on the interest level. For this plot to work and move, there needs to be at least a good number of players or else it defeats the purpose of having a full group. It can be done on few, just those few usually end up doubling.

Well, if I can ever get an actual running plot for the apocalyptic, it'd be amazing. Otherwise theres a series related rp that I started awhile back that is just complete rp chaos... in the good way. It's just complete freedom, but it's more of a modern science fiction.

Which, I can't truly provide because it's a sort of reveal-as-you-progress- plot. But the basis of the roleplay is you're a student, early or late college by this point, who have, since kindergartden, been enrolled in a virtual school, a very expensive and exclusive database. Your body lies in a room, connected to all sorts of wires, monitered closely by nurses, and in a deep sleep. Your mind is well alert in a cyber world where your access is practically limitless. A type of education where, when studying the travels of Christopher Columbus, you can be right there, on the ship, the whole entire program re-created to be experienced. Outside of your studies, creation is your endeavor; your living space is your own creation, you technically have your very own realm to dwell in. It would kind of be roleplayed as a DnD style, (SORT OF) with myself as the DM.

I can't take credit for that one though, purely series based. Just fun to play.
