weapons: when in tiger - claws and teath, when vampire, two twin scimitars one silver/gold other platinum/and gold each weapon was sharpened to an almost atom thin point alowing them to cut almost anything, a shotgun that uses a mix of silver, gold, and platinum pellets.
strengths: doesnt like sunlight (reduces her eyesight to needing glasses, has increased speed and strength, near immortality, developed enhanced sences
weakness: beheading (adviously), having my heart shredded past recovery/ it gets taken out, to bright of light
attitude: silent and brooding, watchful, doesnt have much memory of her life so is kind of innocent
bio: though she has lost her memory recently she does remember some of the events from her past. she remembers being bitten when hunting tigers and being dragged to where she had presummed its den before loosing conciousness due to loss of blood. she remembers training for an undetermined amount of time. and then she remembers the cause of her amnesia. it was ty who found her four years ago starving and dieing on the side of the road and decided to take her in to keep her as a "pet" it was two years ago that she discovered her ability to change forms. throught er captiviy she did not loose her fighting spirit and realizing that it was easier to go along for now she cooperated with ty, till something better came along. she had been collared last week and hates the collar. her weapons are on her however ty figuring out that she is more useful as a fighter then as a slave.

I was going to post a reply to Stone Hunters this morning after getting home. I'd been thinking about it all night long too. But now, I'm so pissed about Night Seekers, that I see no point in RPing in anything until I calm down.

Why are you pissed at the roleplay?

....Well. You guys didn't even give her a chance to reply to the fight. The fight that is also involving her characters and not just yours. Second, Ember, your character is way too invincible. I mean. Look at this.

dodging blow after blow, getting cut a few times by just the tip of his claws.

That and you expect to take down everything with one bullet, and you're using a gun that you claim never runs out of bullets. It's not a magic gun. Use some logic every once and awhile. But the werewolf that you 'distracted' was attacking Chryssta's character, and you guys just kept moving on before she had a chance to really respond to everything that was happening. Granted she did have to go to work, that's life. Life happens, but I'm sure she would have enjoyed being able to respond to what was happening with her character before the battle moved to another stage/level of combat.

Be more considerate and mindful of the people your playing with. Especially if they are the one that started this RP in the first place. And you can't have a god-like character. She's not invincible and there's no way she could dodge every single attack thrown at her.

AND you can't say that you blew a large hole into someone's face when obviously you didn't, since Minty's evil werewolf still has most of his face. No God-Modding and no forgetting/ignoring about other people just because they have to get off the internet for a bit.

Sorry about that :sweat: I didn't want to move much without Chryssta but I didn't want to leave Ember out if she wanted to join. I left my badguys' attacks as open ended as possible so everybody else's characters could do a lot to counter/react to them like probably dodge or block such an attack. I thought that maybe Derrick would survive being rammed into the side of a concrete building since he can't really die without being beheaded or maybe he could have jumped off without Vince noticing. And my vampire guy's still waiting for Johnny's reaction. Basically, the giant wolf hasn't moved from where he first was so it would give Derrick a chance to attack him while he was distracted by Caprisa. And I stopped after just three posts cause I wanted to wait for Chryssta. I didn't think it would be this much of a problem. -_-;

I'm going to post in the RP. This is a warning, guys. Don't forget about the other players that are directly affected by your character's actions. Don't forget that you aren't the only ones in the RP.

I've never had to kick someone from an RP before. Not that I can recall at least. I'd rather not, since the whole point of RPing is playing roles you can't play IRL. Just don't forget that there's more people playing than just you.

I'd really rather not make the RP private. I do want more people in it, but not at the cost of being left out. Do we need to start a posting order? I'd rather avoid that since it's been going so smoothly up till now (in both RPs I mean).

We originally had a posting order in Stone Hunting, but it's been long forgotten since then, and the RP has thrived for it. I want to see this one do the same, but (call me selfish if you will) I want to be a part of it too.

Also, I have a pet peeve. It's not really anything wrong, but it's frustrating nonetheless.

This RP is set in the Third person point of view. It's like playing any number of RP games on the PS2. You see your character, you don't see through the eyes of your character. If you could keep the post styles to 3rd PoV, it'd flow easier, and it's be easier to read given that the rest of the RP is in 3rd PoV.

1st PoV is for thoughts and dreams. 3rd PoV is for everything else involving the RP. Please change your post style to match the others.

And as I've said several times on the front page: NO God-Modding If you're character is invincible to EVERYTHING, then what's the fun of playing it? You might as well just sit back and be one of the gods and watch the events of the silly mortals.

Insta-kill attacks only work if your character is honestly stronger than the other.

For example: Derrick with his sword verses Delilah the vamp. Derrick is older, faster and stronger. Had he gone up against Ty the vamp, he wouldn't have touched him the first few hits, let alone taken off his head with such a simple spin attack.

Another example: Johnny's Plasma Sword. His sword is not all powerful. Yes, it slices and dices a million different ways (it even makes a mean steak), but he doesn't come out unharmed from using it. His wolf fur glows for weeks afterward from the radiation and his hand and arm get burned from the heat of the blade. Oh, everyone around him will glow for awhile in the darkness. His sword isn't perfect. It never will be. No, it doesn't easily run out, but yes it does actually run out. He changes the plasma pack at the back of the hilt after he uses it every time, whether it runs down or not.

Even the characters that seem strong have weaknesses, as should everyone. It is simply no fun being the strongest being there is with no competition.

EDIT: Minty, just to let you know, I did notice you kept your posts in the general sense. I'm not mad at you for going. Like I said, I like seeing that the RP will survive without me. It's the other people that seem to have missed that there's other stuff going on besides themselves.

You know what, I'm sick of being judged by your guys, I'm sick of being told my posts aren't good enough. So, you can just kill of Caprisa I quit the roleplay, there now you don't have to worry about being left behind.

hmn looking at my post i relized my sword is a little to close to doing just what you guys are talking about... would it help if i made it so that instead each sword vibrates at ultrasonic speed but can do it continuosly for only thirty mins before needing recharged? that way it makes it harder for my character, however i do wnat to keep what the swords are made of if thats ok

as to the thirdperson... im a little uncomfortable doing it but i will try to do so... just dont yell at me if i make a mistake ^^'

It sounds okay to me if you want to do that sword thing. However.....You should probably wait until Chryssta comes back and see what she says. Since she's the one in charge here.

I think the Ultra-Sonic thing for the swords would be cool!

But 30 mins seems a bit extended for the size of the sword. I'd imagine that if you're using the sword with the USCE (Ultra-Sonic Cutting Edge) turned on, you expect it to be a fast fight, right? Otherwise the sword can still be used as a sword.

So like I said, 30 mins seems a bit long for the batteries to stay charged. Yeah, by that time, battery tech will have changed and gotten better, but still, the power it would take to run it...

If they randomly cut out due to loose wires, or faulty batteries, it'd be so very believable. It's up to you really, they're your weapons. It's just suggestions.

But if the time varied for how long the batteries worked, it'd be more believable than if they always worked for 30 mins and never failed. That'd be like saying that the batteries in my disc-man always ran for 4 hours, even though sometimes they cut out after 3 hours... Not that i use a disc-man since getting my MP3 player, but you know what I mean.

Otherwise, it all sounds good. And don't worry, if you're trying, you won't be fussed at.

hmn ..... well i already have to turn them off when i sheath them..... ah! the swords causes my to loose feeling in my hands due to the shock waves traveling up my arms, so i usually flip them on only at the last second and off as soon as there through... ah the shock assorbers are out which allows the shockwaves to travel up my arm.

Ouch, sounds painful... Well, the idea to turn them on for a quick battle is a good one, but you don't have to have the shock absorbers out on them. Are they something that she made or bought?
