Kry, you think your computer is retarted. Mine would probably make yours look like albert einstein. or a supercomputer. And yes, i did just skim, because that is all my computer would let me do, and only for a limited time, because it loses connection, and sometimes, it runs without connecting, and even when it is connected, sometimes, it runs better when it ISNT EVEN CONNECTED!!!!! This is SO confusing. God, send me a sign, preforably in the shape of a brand new wireless router. Thank you God! X3 And no lightning storm for me here in east bay california! Just playing SSBB!!!! I love that game....

I'm apparently lucky in my internet connection. The only thing my computer does is overheat from time to time. Otherwise if I stay in this one corner of my house I almost constantly have internet. :) |
Dont feel bad Dia, the only complaints I can make is the slow connection (dialup) and the slow computer that keeps chugging along. This poor thing is working it's hardest to ensure that I can still access, and I do love it for it, but I still need a new comp... Something fast so I can play Doom3 again ^_^

Tolls. My processor is almost dead. It overworks itself and I can barely do anything on this piece of crap computer. Even when it's not connected to the internet. I can't run games at all or the whole thing freezes up and I have to restart it.
My computer needs to be reformatted completely. So yes. Mine is more retarded than yours. Yours seems to just have a simple connection problem that can be easily fixed. My computer needs a computer doctor. >.> so don't tell me my computer isn't retarded when you don't even know what it is or isn't doing. Children. By the looks of things emiko and I are probably the ones with the best working computers.
My home comps don't overheat and we have internet connection all over the house. We fix our own computer problems as well. As long as they aren't too complicated, that is :sweat: So it's tornado season already, is it? If the sky above my house doesn't turn green, it's not worth my time to keep an eye out for anything :P Other than tornadoes, anybody else thinking of going [if they can] to DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival? |
I've been trying to convince my fiance for years that he wants to take me to the DC cherry blossom festival but he always says no. With good reason though. We're usually saving up money for anime conventions. Like Animazement at the end of May.

You don't really need to spend much at the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Ah, but then there's always a lot of good stuff to buy :XD They also have anime related events there like cosplay contests and I think they have anime viewing sessions or something. I keep missing out on those though. I personally go for the food but they sell kimonos, artwork, clothes, Japanese house products that are hard to find on western shores, furniture, Japanese traditional art supplies, and a whole bunch of other stuff I won't be able to even think of buying :drool: They also have traditional Japanese music and theater performances and martial arts exhibition matches :yes: But sometimes the rain decides to show up. It's never stopped festival goers before though :D |
I know we don't need to spend much at the festival. But getting to the festival would cost alot. Gas and food costs are a bit high..well especially gas. And a drive from Danville to D.C is a looooong drive too.

Going to an anime convention at the end of May. Usually I just go to Neko-con in november which is all the way in Hampton, Va. That was a loooooooong drive. Fun but long drive.
The one in May is in Raleigh, N.C which isn't to long of a drive so that's a relief. This'll be my fourth time going to a convention, but my first time going to one that isn't Neko-con. heh. :squee: I think Chryssta and Minty should go with me. |
That would be awesome if it happened. Me? I've never been to an anime convention. I hope one day to get the chance.

It's not too expensive really. like 50 bucks for the weekend pass, the hotel is already taken care of by some of my friends. -shrug- Dia if you lived close to me I'd invite you to come along too.

I watched the Princess and the Frog the other day. That was a sweet movie. ...and the most adorable thing from disney is Bambi. |

Bambi isn't adorable. Bambi is what I keep hitting while going to work... Though Thumper will always be my favorite bunny... And the skunkie Flower... Okay, okay, Bambi is adorable... I like Lady and the Tramp... Not always the favorite movie from Disney, but an exceptional one. Good for a romance binge though... OH! Enchanted! That's one of the best newer Disney movies, though not many people would agree. But it's so much fun to break a Disney Princess. I like seeing them break. :twisted: Lots of tiny little pieces... |

I didn't get to see Princess and the Frog yet... I wanted to see it in theater, but I kept getting busy with other stuff, or being tired, or something else always came up... I'm DEFINITELY going to see 'How to Train your Dragon' though! 2D though, if I can find it... Don't like 3D...

Yes, Stitch is amazing. Don't watch the second movie though. It's only really a setup for the TV show, and isn't very good at all. Bambi is adorable, but I think the last time I saw it I was very very young. Can't really seem to remember it... You've seen Princess and the Frog? AND Alice in Wonderland?? I am so jealous!! Ah well. I'll have to check them out on DVD. I love Netflix... |

I can't wait to see Clash of the Titans...though the original was way awesome I don't think they should've remade it but the remake looks really awesome too. Oh..and poor Krinn. He's a little confused. |
