yeah, it was kindof a lot... huh?
well, coming home from the store was scary... an idiot driver was coming out of the parking lot too fast and nearly rammed into the passenger side of the car... THE SIDE I WAS SITTING IN!! That really freaked me out.. I HATE car crashes/accidents... *shudders at the thought of them*
And then, when we were drving past a tall metal tower of some kind, and it was really close to where we were driving, a HUGE bolt of lightning struck it and me and my mom both got freaked by it... MY mom hates lightning... she's really afraid of it.. even the simple flashes of light get her nerves going... me, I don't mind so much, but that was waaaay scary, having lightning strike so close... O.O

Hehehehe... Lightning hit a tree only a few yards away from my house this past summer. I was talking on the cell with my boyfriend at the time and there was this deafening crack and I screamed I was so scared. The whole house shook and I ran downstairs to my mom like a little kid. She was pretty scared too. I shook so bad... There was a lot of flooding that night and when I went outside in the morning I found that the tree had been completely cracked in half but fortunately hadn't fallen over. The crack got bigger and bigger though and we had to wait a long time for somebody to come cut it down. It was scary. O. o

It's not really bad compared to other places' flooding but for us it was a pretty big deal. I have a picture of the golf course too completely underwater, some people had to be evacuated around that area. V_V

yeah, around here there was some major flooding a few weeks back, three different rivers went way over the highest point, so a lot of streets and places were closed down... even portions of the highway were shut down, but it's all better now, after a couple weeks... but the Mall that was in the area, it got flooded too, so it actually hasn't reopened yet since there was probably a lot of water damage and all the stores there will need to reorder and restock their merchandise... >.>

Yeah, that's my mom's house. We live in the country. I'm at school though so I'm about 3 hours away from there. ^_^ We don't have any malls in the area. You actually have to drive at least a half hour to get to the nearest small city to go grocery shopping and stuff. >.<

That's cool... I've always kinda liked the idea of living in the country... I live near a big city... so it's really annoying... too many people and it's almost never peaceful with all the crime and stuff... Dx

Yeah, we don't have much that goes on where I live. A lot of high schoolers do drugs and stuff but for the most part people don't get hurt or anything. It's nice but there's also never anything to do around here. I don't have many friends IRL because of that. Most people in high school picked on me and when you only have a graduating class of like 70 people, there's not a lot to chose from. >.<

Oh, and just to let people know, my parents are coming to visit tomorrow so I'm not quite sure when I'll be able to get on. It probably won't be until evening sometime...

I'm working on an AMV for the AMV contest at a convention I'm attending in July. It takes about an hour to render the full video and it makes my computer pretty slow as it works in the background. Soooo, I usually do other stuff until it's done.

Ah... I'm trying to do some homework for Broadcasting... I'm doing a little research about Oprah at the moment. >.<

Yeah, me too. I'm a big fan of Will Smith. There's just something about him... He's always so funny I guess but he is also able to show that he is human. He's such a good actor. ^_^ I still have to see his movie I am Legend and I just found out that a new Men In Black 3 is coming out with him in it. I'm so excited. ^^;

Ha, yeah. He's definitely one of my favorite actors. I haven't seen I Am Legend either. D: But I did see The Pursuit of Happiness, and that was a really good movie. It's amazing how versatile he is as an actor.

Yeah. I think he tends to steer towards the Sci-Fi genre though... Or at least most of the movies that I've seen with him in them have been futuristic for the most part. ^^; He can do quite a variety though.
