Hm, that sounds really annoying. I would be careful, that thing might be a virus... I've seen stuff like that, like popups and stuff that want you to download their scanner or whatever but it's just a scam. >.<

yeah, it practically downloaded itself and it keeps warning me that my computer isn't safe... and the only way to get rid of the apparent 'infections' on my computer is to subscribe to this thing, so I don't think this is an actual virus, but it's still waaaay annoying... >.<

I'm still not so sure. I wouldn't subscribe to anything it wants you to do. I would try to uninstall it from the control panel myself...

If you don't have virus protection, go to this site: AVG Antivirus

And download the one that says it is free. It is one of the better free anti-virus programs. Going online without any sort of anti-virus is like asking your computer to die. O_o' It should hopefully also be able to tell you whether the thing you already have on there is a virus.

I use Avast myself... It's another option for free antivirus. I've been using it for at least 2 years now I think and I haven't gotten a virus yet... You could also look at downloading Lavasoft Ad-Aware to clear away all those little things that wedge into your computer but don't always get cleared off with antivirus stuff. And then there's Spybot to track down any spyware you might have as well. I scan my computer with each of them on occasion and they're all free which is really nice.

I use mozilla firefox for my web browser. It has an add on called No Script that prevents websites from running the scripts unless I allow it. That means no ads show up on my screen, thus no adware. I'll check in later. I'm going to go play Everquest with the hubby. ^_^

I think I might have that on my firefox as well. And aw... I feel so lonely, just me and my French paper... T_T

I don't like using Mozilla Firefox, we had it on the school computer and they were always too damn slow, you could practically never do anything... >.<

Hm, what do you use then? I never use IE because for me at least it crashes like crazy. On the computers here at our school, Firefox always opens faster than IE.

It wasn't firefox. It was most likely the computers. lol. Firefox runs just fine on every comp I've every tried it on.

Hm... I'm not sure. I just hhhhhaaaaate IE. So not a fan. I'll use anything but IE.

Ugh. My boyfriend's room mate is such a freaking douche. He went over to s[pend the night as his girlfriend's and so I spent the night here with my boyfriend. Only the guy decides to comes back at 7freakingoclock in the morning and decides to start packing up all his freaking crap, which he already did yesterday! He's just finding an excuse to make noise and be a douche so I can't get any sleep. His parents probably won't be here for HOURS. I went to bed at like 2:00am. Who said I needed any freaking sleep to take my last exam today? *Fumes* :angry:

Yeah... You can never count on getting a full night's sleep with a baby around. T_T

And yay! Yay! Yay! I just finished my last exam. I'm done for good! ^_^

Oh my god. I'm so happy and relieved. My AP World History exam is now over. <3 I was able to write and finish all three essays in time and the multiple choice part wasn't too horrendous. I think I passed, but I don't want to be too confident.
