@Rain-San: There's many things you have to fix with your profile before you can be accepted. Residence section needs more work. I said "description". As in a something detailed. Not just some picture. You can add the picture for visual reference, but a detail description is required. Generally speaking, just add some more detail to your profile. Your character is a little flat - lacking some impact and personality. Other that, your character has much potential. Just dig deeper so we can feel her soul, get it? :3 You can do it~!

His whole life has been built upon unbelievable coincidences and near-misses that leave him mostly unscathed. This incredible skill has lead him to be the owner of some less than fortunate traits. He is an obsessive risk taker. Whenever possible he puts his own neck on the chopping black, confident the blade will swing down a second too late. Faust is also somewhat antisocial. Not hide in a corner and read a book breed of antisocial, but the pleasantly neutral to everyone kind you see often in clerks and airplane stewardesses. Even with his own family he prefers to make ‘acquaintances‘, rarely does it go past that level. It’s for you to get closer to people, harder to let them get closer to you. At the same time he’s not afraid to be blunt, if something needs saying he’ll say it. He is also fairly easily excitable and has the potential to become highly motivated with anything in particular. Likes/Loves: Faust loves few things, preferring to remain ambivalent towards most subjects. He does love most of all his cat, Mars, whom he took back with him to his hometown. His obsession however is his Vespa, he polishes and takes care of it like a fine jewel. For some reason he gets along great with kids- often has to take care of his multiple half-brothers and sisters when his mom is out. Photography is also one of these few things he‘s passionate about, he carries his camera around with him everywhere (even at work) just incase a perfect picture presents itself. And also, he quite enjoys the taste of sweets (he is a sucker for egg tarts and raspberry crepes in particular). Dislikes/Hates: The smell of dektol is probably on the very top of his list, the photo developer of his choice. In fact, it repels him so much he is forced to practically scrub his hands clean despite using tongs through the whole process. He also dislikes alcohol in general, not because he dislikes the taste or smell but due to his surprisingly low tolerance to it. Cooking, he hates it. Nothing he bakes turns out right. This has led him to make frequent midnight trips to his favorite bakery to fix his incorrigible sweet tooth. Hospitals are another thing he severely dislikes, he makes any excuse not to visit them even for routine things such as shots. Despite this dislike he has to visit the local doctor’s clinic often due to bumps and falls caused by chronic narcolepsy. Due to weakness caused by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome the younger boy, William, had to wear leg braces much of his childhood. The older brother, Leonidas, helped his brother along everywhere making them virtually inseparable. When the boys were four William again suffered disadvantage when he became the unfortunate victim in a brutal hit-and-run incident, the little boy spent surprisingly little time recovering but was afflicted with near-complete color blindness. The accident caused a huge rift in his parents relationship, both blaming each other for what had happened. Soon it deteriorated to an unrepairable level and the two hastily divorced, the father Fredrick taking both boys with him. Further tragedy struck when the boys were just seven, their father was one of the many fatalities in a large subway accident. It took them four days to identify the body. It was the sixth day by the time they found the next of kin, It wasn’t until the seventh that they realized the two boys had been stuck in the apartment alone the whole time. They were sent to live in the depths of the busy city with their maternal aunt upon Social Services' discussion with the mother, who rejected custody due to the recent birth of the first child in her new marriage. They came in occasional contact with their mother still, spending sparse holidays together and receiving the obligatory holiday card. William grew up with a love of art despite his color blindness. Leo took a more roundabout course to his career, settling into a life in the more underground portions of society. This often got both brothers in trouble due to their identical looks, getting the innocent Will caught up more than a few times. Still everything worked out in the end, or at least it did until now. Present: Upon the dubious disappearance of his beloved older twin Will has returned to Arlington, the last place Leo was seen, leaving his active job in the city. Using the ‘I’m your son and you should have to’ card he found boarding at his mothers house, even garnering his own room in the spacious but cold attic. He currently works part-time to pay for supplies needed to maintain his long-distance city job, but when not he takes care of his half-siblings and looks for photo opportunities. Future: Faust is a 'now' person. Preferring not to stay in the boundaries of what-ifs, he holds true to the adage 'humans plan, god laughs'. The way he sees it as long as he has his brother, a good job, his cat, and his Vespa, life couldn't help but be somewhat pleasant. Residence Current Residence: Lives in a townhouse along with his mother, Marina, and her new family. His many half-siblings are named in this order; Danielle (17), Daphne (14), Dallas (9), Dakota (9), and Davis (2). While Danielle is off at college the rest still remain in the overstuffed house. Will was more than happy to stay somewhat out-of-the-way in his attic room. Current Residence Description: The lovely townhouse with the blue door. A refurbished house that despite it's dusty exterior has the interior of a very warm well-maintained home. Career/Job Current Job/Career: Café Employee (8am - 5 pm) M, W, F Bartender (6pm - 3 am) M, W, F Freelance Photographer Current Job/Career Description: If nothing Faust is a hard worker, he has to be to support all his hobbies. Film doesn't come cheap. He's taken up Cafe duty in the morning, serving meals and coffee. When that job his done he quickly commutes to his job bartending, serving and making drinks as well as kicking out drunks at closing. These two jobs he juggles every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and occasionally Sunday. When he lived in the city he worked as a commercial and private photographer, he still continues this work to a smaller degree in Arlington. ---------- |

@ Raine: I meant to change the residence requirement yesterday but, Chu and I were too busy creating our own profiles. We stood up for hours working on them. I’m sorry if you feel insulted but, I’m not the one to lie. I do think your profile has plenty potential. But, I want for you, as the player, to reach past simplicity. Her character is not very developed. The profile skeleton is setup in such a way, that it forces you think about your character in depth while forming an bonding, understandable and easy relationship between player and character. You gave the impression of not putting much thought into your character. That’s the real reason we didn't accept you right away. If you feel it's too much work, you are free to leave and find another RP. Because we busted our asses last night. I'm sorry if I sound cranky, but I had only five hours of sleep trying to get this RP right and ready.

At times, she's a calm and collective individual, one who does not speak much, and one who offers advice when need. Other times, she's a happy go lucky, sweet girl who is very motherly and loves to give advice. One piece of advice for anyone she meets though, is that when this girl is pissed, that they better run for the hills. She is stronger than she looks, and she may be skinny, but you don't want to under estimate this girl. No matter what, Aya will keep her feelings and opinions to herself so she won't accidently 'hurt' someone with them. Likes/Loves: The thing Ayako takes most pleasure in, is reading, writing, poetry, and anything to really do with creative writing. She is very art dedicated as well, and whenever she can, she goes out and paints the scenery around her. Dancing is another passion of hers, and that is the way that she has been able to become stronger than she looks. An amazing dancer, she is artistically gifted. She hates watching sports as well, and some would say she hates playing them too. Ayako was the oldest of the two siblings she had, and she loved them very much. She couldn't help but feel that the reason the family she had was always worse off than the others was because of her. Because of her interests. She loved to paint at an early age, and back then, paint was expensive. Her younger twin brother, and younger sister loved to watch her paint and would always laugh at the result of Ayako at the end, and laugh at how she had more paint on herself than on the canvas. This was how it was for most of Ayako's early days. When Ayako turned seven, tragedy struck her village, and her family. A plague hit the village, and many of the occupants ended up dying. In the mass amounts of death in the village, Ayako's mother was included. She had spent weeks bedridden and suffering from the pain caused by the plague. Ayako doesn't remember much from the time she spent by her mother's bed, watching her, crying beside her ill body. But the things she does remember cause her to break into tears every time the memory surfaces. Shortly after the death of her mother, her father began to seclude himself for most of the day, causing Ayako to take care of her younger siblings. Her father would come out for the seldom meal that Ayako cooked, but other than that, he stayed in his room, blaming himself for his wife's death. He just couldn't get himself past that, and for years, he lived in the past. After a while, death took his weak body. Aya was fourteen when this happened. Her sister, just a year younger than herself, was sent along with Aya and her brother to live with their aunt in Arlington, who was much better off than Aya's father and mother. Her aunt was always talking about how useless the bastard that had married her mother was, and that he deserved to die after he had let poor Rei(the mother) die. Ayako had had enough of that by the time she was seventeen, and slapped her aunt before hissing at her, "Go die you stupid old Bitch!" After that, Aya left the house, taking her twin brother and younger sister with her. She didn't have much money, but she found a job somewhere, making enough to support the three of them. She sold her paintings once in a while, had a night shift at a bar, patched clothes, and sung for a casino. She worked herself sick often times, but she'd be at it the next day. She almost worked herself into unconsciousness nearly four times, but her brother somehow managed to persuade her to take time off. It was on her twenty-first birthday that she came home to find the house ransacked, and her brother and sister missing. Immediately she phoned the police, filing a missing persons case. But two years came and went by, and the body of the two people she held most dear never turned up. About one week after the new years party she had been invited to, she up and moved back to Arlington, never once contacting her aunt to let her know she was back in town. Present: Ayako's life is quite the luxury. Being the owner of a popular clothing store, and being a known artist gave her the opportunities she had never been able to give her siblings, nor her parents before they died. She lives her life in peace most of the time, and she often times thinks that her life isn't busy enough. She only recently found out about the death of her aunt, and she doesn't care one bit. Ayako 'works' two and a half weeks out of the month from her house, painting pictures of things that people have requested, or sewing custom clothes, or just making new clothes. The rest of the month is spent between singing at random places or events, or working the one shift a month at her clothing store. Future: Ayako is more a person who lives in the now, and she doesn't plan much for the future. She just takes each day as it passes, and lives her life to the fullest as she knows her siblings and her parents would want her to. Residence Current Residence: A small, but quaint little house in which she lives in by herself. Current Residence Description: Her lovely house What can she say about her house? It gets the job done. It keeps her warm, has hydro, has electricity, internet, cable, all that lovely stuff. Only one of the bedrooms is being used for that. The others are being used for her own personal library, her sewing room, and her painting room. She has her living room set up in such a way that there's more space(or so it seems) than there actually is. She's got her kitchen set up normally, and her bathroom has a lot of paints and stuff in it to paint creatively on the walls. Almost every wall inside the house has a different creative design on it that she painted herself, and almost every room has some trace of her passions within it. Career/Job Current Job/Career: Clothes Store Owner Artist Current Job/Career Description: Ayako's job would be very tedious to someone who dislikes hard work, and constant sewing. She makes all the clothes that the store sells, and she works hard at it. She loves her job, and wouldn't trade it for the world. She does all the store layouts, and every three months she'll give the store a brand new layout and make up the maps and hand them out to those who walk into the store afterwards. She'll also take requests for custom designs and custom sizes for those in Arlington, but Aya will warn the people that it will cost a bit extra for custom things. |
