Fairy Stone Magic

Within the hills of Virginia there are special stones. These stones are called Fairy Stones. Legend has it that these stones were created when an elven messenger brought news of the death of Christ to the fairies who once lived here. After receiving the message the fairies cried and their tears that fell crystallized into the shape of crosses. The fairy stones come in the shape of St. Andrews, Roman and Maltese crosses. The St. Andrews cross is the most common to be found, then the Roman and the Maltese is the rarest. It's said that if one is lucky enough to find one of these crosses that they will gain magic power. The magic powers range widely from divine protection to the ability to control/manipulate an element.

So will you go forth and hunt for one of these little charms? If so be warned once you have found a Fairy Stone you must always keep it on you. If you lose your Fairy Stone you will be in grave danger. For those who have lost their charm are said to go mad.

Appearance: Jamie is 5' 6" and has a medium build with light muscle definition. He has raven black hair that is short and almost always messy. He wears glasses, but every now and then he'll use his contacts. Normally Jamie wears a t-shirt and jeans.
Bio: Jamie grew up on a farm in Southern West Virginia. He has two younger brothers and a twin sister. He heard about the Fairy Stones from a friend who has relatives that live in Virginia. His friend even showed him the stone that his uncle had given him. After hearing all the legends and actual facts about the Fairy Stones he decided that he'd investigate them himself. He liked to believe that there was something special about the stones.

When she was fifteen, she ran away from the cult and escaped to the mountains, where she planned on living for the rest of her life... however long that was. She was rather surprised - and put off - when she found the distinct shape of a Roman cross half-buried under a small shrub. Ever since she picked it up and brushed it off, she'd never been the same girl again.

Power: If she speaks or sings passionately, animals, flowers and plants will come to her. She can't talk to animals, but they seem to really like her. If she concentrates on a single plant, she can sing the plant into any shape she wants.
