Thalatta: The Veil Has Been Lifted (A literate Fantasy rp)
Thalatta Click for more info.... Thalatta is an island filled with mythical creatures. Mater, mother, the one who helped to create Thalatta has lifted the veil that hid the island from outsiders. Now the land has been invaded by strange creatures, which the natives call Split Tails. These creatures seem to want to take over the land, and their actions suggest that they intend to use violence if need be. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Characters -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs43/f/20...oulretouch.jpg Description: Navaeh's skin is a light blue, and unlike other Blue Skins her hair is silver going down to her feet. Her eyes are ice blue, that darken with the loss of light. She's very slender and is about six feet in height. Being an Oracle she often wears special robes with hoods. Sometimes she might wear something tribal. It all depends on the occasion. Name: Nevaeh Age: Ancient Race: Blue Skin Sexuality: Hetero Occupation: Head Oracle They live: Forest Powers: Along with all the abilities of a Blue Skin, Nevaeh has the ability of foresight. In this ability she can also see the possibility of a change of paths, which means that she can find out if there is a path that will alter the future. Background: Nevaeh was one of the first naturally born children of her people. She never personally knew her parents, but merely knew of them. Children were raised by all the tribe, a tradition that still carries at a more minor degree. As a child she was the first of the non-royals to show signs of abilities that exceeded her kind. After that discovery she was raised along side the royals. Eventually others outside the royal family began to show signs, and that is when the idea of the Oracle Chairs came about. When they were of age they were confirmed as Oracles, and Nevaeh was placed as the head chair. When the Split Tails came she was the first to be called. However, something blocked her view of these new people. She decided that the only way to judge these new creatures was to meet with them, and perhaps then she would be able to see what effect these people would have on the future of Thalatta. He is a very strict man, with little patience. He is the type of guy to take action more often than he listens. His people look to him for strength in times of hardship because to them he is the ultimate symbol of it. Freyr will make any sacrifice for the well being of his people. Which is why his presence is an over all threat to the balance of Thalatta. Arethusa is the queen of Thalatta born of the Blue Skins. She is similar to Freyr in the sense that she will make any sacrifice to protect her people. She however is a careful decision maker. She is also looked up to by her people for strength, but she also looks to them for hers. Arethusa seeks a means of making peace with the Split Tails. She is one of the few who wants them to allow them to stay. She believes that there is a reason why Mater has let down the veil, thus being, the outsiders deserve to be welcome. Even still she wants their kind to understand that dwelling in Thalatta means that they need to follow certain rules. Arethusa's abilities allow her to control the forces of nature. Of her kind she is the most powerful because she has lived the longest, and has in this time used her power to keep the balance of Thalatta pure. Amarandus is the king of Thalatta |
