There is a world, distant from ours. In this world, people used to be in tune with nature so much that they could understand plants. They would only take what they needed, and would cooperate with the land to create their houses with minimal impact on the earth around them. In exchange for the humans tending to them, the plants would lend them their powers. These Botanics, as they were called, were plentiful as the plants around them.

However, these peaceful times have ended. People decided that they needed more space then that was given to them, and they hacked back the greenery that had given them so much. As the plants grew fewer, so did the Botanics. The peasants demanded greater yields from weaker plants, and forced the Botanics to command their leafy friends.

The Botanics will not stand for this any longer. They have created an underground alliance of sorts, and they are fighting for the rights of their photosynthetic comrades and themselves.

Name: This is what your character calls themselves. Full names are preferred.
Age: The actual number of years your character has lived.
Appearance: This includes the physical features, as well as the clothing your character prefers to wear. Let us know if they're pulchritudinous, or just plain homely.
History: Your character wasn't just born. Tell us of the tales that brought your person to the present time.
Personality: Are they the kind to invite you to dinner, or kill you in cold blood? Think of all possible social situations your charrie could be in, and how they would react.
Weapons/Gear: This is what your character uses to fight. This is a medieval-esque period of time, so swords, bows, staffs, etc. are acceptable. Plant powers can be used, but they are not solely used, because the powers don't stay; thus, Botanics use weapons as well. This also includes anything else your charrie has on them. I would assume that we're all being Botanics, but, if not, then say so here.

Name: Ekqui Somtribi
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Appearance: Ekqui's about 5' 5'', and is lean looking, but don't let that fool you. Her forest life has made her strong, and has very little fat considering she's a vegetarian that only eats what she needs. She looks very happy, and her curly brown hair frames her always smiling face perfectly. Her eyes are so green that they seem to reflect the world around her. She has clothes that are entirely made out of living plants. She wears a halter-bra as a top, and a knee-length skirt as a bottom. When needed, she can use the powers of the plants she wears.

History: The only thing Ekqui remembers of her family was them leaving her in the forest as a child. She remembers being so scared, but the plants around her whispered which fruits and vegetables she could eat. Since then, she has lived in her forest haven, with only her tamed squirrel, Tamic, and the plants for company.

Personality: Despite being nearly alone in the woods, she is very friendly and talkative. Ekqui is the kind were you can barely get a word in, especially if she's excited. When threatened, she calls upon the woodland to help her, but she'll fight vigorously alongside it with her staff.

Weapons/Gear: When called upon, Ekqui's skirt-leaves will stick out and become sharp to the touch. Her fighting style incorporates a lot of twirling to use this to her full advantage. She is very good with all type of consumable plants considering they take care of her while she takes care of them. Her staff, although separated from the ground, will sometimes have extra effects [such as poisoning] if the situation is dire enough.

Name: Dust Grimwald

Age: 20

Appearance:
-Hair: Naturally green (like an ivy color green); slightly longer than chin length. wavy. side bangs.
-Eyes: Left eye is gray, and right eye is amethyst. Long, dark, black eyelashes. Slightly big, but not so that they're creepy, but that they look pretty in a slightly peculiar way.
-Nose: It's ordinary. Not much to say.
-Mouth: Full lips, but mouth is kind of small. Rosy colored.
-Face: heart shaped.
-Height: 5'10" (just because that's my height. I don't remember what the world looks like from a shorter height lol)
-Physique: Big hands. Fit with toned muscles and a very femine hourglass shape.
-Clothes: All clothes are hand-made by her. Shirt is an yellow and sleeveless. Wears a white (but it looks gray because its so dingy) long sleeved jacket, and black leather pants along with black leather flat boots that come halfway up her shins and are scuffed on the toes and heel. has a belt holster type thing for her twin blades (also black leather).

History She was born in a group of cluster of red wood trees that were covered in ivy. for this she is very intune with ivy and red wood trees, and more intune than others would be for trees and anything like ivy (if there are other plants like ivy). Her father was a warrior for their village. He was the one who taught her how to wield a sword since he didn't have any sons. As she became she developed her own fighting style that uses twin blades and kicks. When she was 18, on the day before her father was going to deem her a warrior of the village so that he may retire, a group of people who were greatly opposed to this (since it was not allowed for a woman to be a warrior until then) set fire to her house, killing her mother and father and younger sister. She fled her village in order to save her life. She retains her "green" beliefs since that is all she's ever known. Her village was very traditional and rarely changed things.

Personality: She's rather shy and a bit intimidating when you meet her. However, as she learns to trust people and befriends them and stuff, she becomes light hearted and talkative. She's not afraid to kill people since she has been trained to do so, and she understands that killing is a deep, dark part of lifes nature. However, she will not sensely kill people. In order to kill, she needs a reason that she deems appropriate to do so.

Weapons/Gear: Belt holster for twin blades. Twin blades are made of durable, yet light, steel. Ivy is etched into one blade, Red Wood into the other. The handles are simple, made out of the same steel as the blades, except they are a darker color, and have the appropriate engraving of the plant on it. (Ivy has ivy engraving, Red Wood has red wood engraving). her favorite offensive plant powers to use are that of the ivy (ensnares enemies in thorny poison ivy; depending on her will, it can kill the opponent. she usually doesn't kill by this means though. She just uses it to capture enemies.). Her favorite defensive plant powers to use are the red wood (provides cover) and aloe (heals burns. yes, her liking aloe has everything to do with her family dieing in a fire.)
