Hmm... I suppose we can put the Fred issue on hold until we have enough characters... and until maybe someone applies for him. I do think it'd be pretty awesome to have Fred in the RP :3

Well, I haven't heard from Seridano, despite the PM. I'm going to wait another 24 hours, send another PM, and then declare that we can move on without her, though of course she still has the character. Maybe she's just busy? I don't know. :( I was really enjoying her Luna, too.

So, I heard back from Seridano -- she's not going to be able to spend time online for a little while, so we'll just assume Luna moves with the group for now, and Seri will rejoin us when she's back online regularly.

So, let's keep the story moving! The Death Eater(s) can't make their next moves -- at least with our current cast -- until the next day. Does anyone want to narrate the transition to the Welcoming Feast?

Also, does anyone have any business with their character(s) that needs to be done during the Welcoming Feast?

I don't have anymore business with my characters. :) And i have no idea how you'd do the narration for the transition thing, so I don't know if I would be able to do that. Sorry! :)

I think it'd make the most sense for anime_scholar to do it then. After all, Harry is the main character. :3 And I think I'd have writers' block if I had to do it. Ron isn't exactly the most perceptive character. [hehee.]

Ron being not-so-insightful is wonderfully true to canon. :P Though he did improve a bit in the last few chapters of book seven.

Mm, true... though that might have been due to the book he got for Harry's birthday, but who knows? He might've actually gained a bit of insightfulness. (Is that a word? o.O)

I always think the best way to cure writers' block is to write something ridiculous and silly, and then tone it down if you feel it needs it. Often it doesn't! ^_^

Hey guys, sorry for intruding, but I think I'd like to apply for the role play.
Though, I'm still unsure.
I was thinking of taking on quite a few characters. [The Malfoys' and Snape]
But as to their role in this I'm still a bit confused. I understand they are in hiding, looking to avoid being seen and such. But were there plans for them to come in later on?

As for the role of the Malfoys and Snape, I'd hoped they would return to England, somehow become involved with events either at Hogwarts or outside, but you're more than welcome to suggest ideas -- if they're your characters, you can absolutely control what they do. As narrator, I only do the newspaper and our big villain. I'm only playing Harry right now because no one else has applied. :(

I'm currently reading Deathly Hallows as per scholar's request, and I'm still pretty early on in the book (106 out of...755). But it won't take a week for me to make my reply. I'm aiming to have one by later this afternoon.
