Yes, Fred is officially dead. :( I figured I should try to keep it to canon as much as possible. After all, JKR never actually *says* that Snape dies, right? Harry just assumes that's what he saw.

(I suppose the same could be said of Fred, but while I've seen tons of fanfic with an alive Snape -- and written some myself -- I haven't yet come across a Fred-didn't-die fic.)

I didn't know what to do with Lucius so I just made him anguished at what he's done (or not done) to his family. But we could pretend that there's been growing animosity between father & son, so just give me a good outline and I'll follow along. I'm no good with actual "fighting action" so you guys are gonna have to help me through.

Well, those of us who are in a group have to deal with conversations... and that tends to shorten posts. I'm wondering if we should set a post order, or simply let the conversations flow as they need to.

I was thinking about that too. It seems like if we set a post order, it would be easier to keep up communications. Though at the same time, if somebody is going to be gone for a while, everybody kind of gets screwed if its that persons turn. That make any sense?

I propose that we try for a few days without a post order -- after all, some of the characters are in a different setting, like Snape and the Malfoys, and it might stilt conversations if Ron can't reply to Hermione until, for instance, Narcissa has had another long, wonderfully emotional post. ;)

But if things get complicated and messy, I'm happy to set a posting order.

Can everyone give their vague availabilities? Time zone, when you're on, for how long?

Myself, I'm usually available 5-10pm Monday through Friday, and most of the day on the weekends. I'm in the Pacific time zone.

My availability usually differes right now. I'm pacific time zone as well, so I can usually be on the same times as you Anime.

I'm in the EST time zone.
And, frankly I've never worked with a posting order other than in one on ones... I doubt I'd like it much, it's too restricting for one - and the only situations I can see this working is if everyone was at the same setting were all reacting to one another.

Also, I'm sorry I've been away! I just finished my pre-employment training and I'm starting my job tomorrow! So since I'll be working full time [35+ hours a week?] for the summer, I'll have to find out my schedule and get back to you.
