Ha! I don't think I've ever had that problem, but I did have one teacher that would always pronounce my last name wrong. It irked me and then it irked me even more when I said it the way he did once. XD

I think he started to do it because he knew it got to me. XD But I've got 'Mc' in my name, denoting my Irish heritage, and he'd say 'Mac' and that's more for Scottish. So then people would think I'm Scottish! Nooo! I'm Irish ancestry, darn it!
