I'm not sure which day Rroy should be born on. He's always been the 13th because he was born on Friday the 13th. Based on your new calendar, which day would be similar to it? I noticed that the days of the week aren't used either. I guess that just complicates things. So, which day, if you had to pick one, would be a "bad day" or a "day of destruction" or something. And if you were to go by Rroy's calendar, he would be born the 13th as there would be 40 days in his calendar with only one month.

Anyways, the first of winter is the beginning of the month, and the 10th is "New Year's Eve." So, if we shorten the calendar to only 10 days, we would have to assume the calendar only had originally 28 days (for the purpose of having whole numbers rather than decimals). After doing the math, Rroy would be born... Winter 5th as it would be equivalent to December 13th.

Okay. Rroy's new official birthday (for this roleplay) is Winter 5th.

Wow. That's really putting math into play. T_ T So the 5th of Winter is an inauspicious day, hm...

There aren't really days of the week per say but the last day of each week is like the weekend. So 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day. I just tried to make the months shorter so we can hopefully get to play during each season, something that's never been accomplished yet. T_ T

That's understandable. And Winter 5th isn't really a bad day since there isn't like a "Sunday/Monday" connected with it. XD

Hm, I'm trying to make that day into a holiday like Friday the 13th but I can't think of a name for it. T_ T

It could just be "Winter 5th - the darkest day of the year."
Meaning the sun is out less than normal, which would make Summer 5th the lightest day of the year as the sun would be out the longest then.

I've been trying to update everything in the tread to get it ready for opening. I'll have the tweak one paragraph in the plot a bit, edit the map, and put up my own profile and then I think everything will be ready. The question remains however if I should wait with Halloween coming up... T_ T

Only reason I thought of it is because I'm born the day before the "shortest day of the year" (December 21), but sometimes December 20th (my birthday) is known as "the darkest day of the year" when certain conditions are met.

And I'd say you could open on Halloween. If they don't post until Monday, they don't post until Monday. Besides, some people are on more during the weekend. Opening on a Monday might not draw in as much attention. I know I won't be on a lot Monday as I work and have school.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to open it is because of the weekend. It's really not Halloween I'm worried about, it's the possibility of the Halloween event keeping people busy but I haven't heard anything about it.

True. But people always need gold and if they are short a few coins to trade something, then they might decide to post. XD

Yuppers. I'm two majors and a minor. It sounded like a good idea. Then college got hard. XD

Heh, what are your majors then? I graduated this summer with summa cum laude as a French major with Art minor. College was really stressful for me but I made it through. ^_^

I'm a third year Packaging Science major, a first year Advertising and Public Relations major, and I'm working on a Marketing minor. I go to Rochester Institute of Technology, so we're on the quarter system. Ten weeks of class, one week of finals, one week off. Repeat.

If I'm lucky I'll graduate Spring 2013.

Wow, we didn't go to school too far from each other then. I was up in Oswego.
