On Tuesday, I'm going to be going under for surgery to remove my tonsils and to correct a crookedness in my nose, which I probably got from boxing... I will be down for the count for a two days. I would like to get all the embraces done either tonight or tomorrow and then will be leaving Meatballhead in charge, giving them a certain amount of information, so that you guys can play for the few days that I'll be out. Sound good?

Largely for the sake of expediency, because of the whole surgery thing, I'm going to speed things up a little, so I can finish this up.

Faith, you've been abducted by plants. They are taking you to the Marques, where you will be turned.
Alessia, you've run into the Count, who's sorta barely alive. You and he manage to escape and come back and eventually rescue the others.
Merrick has been taken already and is lying in the catacombs on a stone slab.

After everyone individually is taken, they are going to be put on a stone slab in the catacombs, where they'll be found and rescued by the Count and Alessia, with lots of effort. Ok... excellent.

If you want to RP the individual embraces, I can do that when I'm functional again as a dream, perhaps, or flashback.

Important Information About Day Two

What has happened IC:

• All of the "to be embraced" youth have been turned.
• As abovementioned, Alessia found the Count and the others
• All embraced characters wake up in the hospital, with the exception of Alfred who is being attended to by servants of The Marques
• NOBODY* has any memories of what has happened when the fell down the hallway or walked through the doorway. However their memories prior to that and when they wake up are in tact.
• The news (papers, online, and gossip) reveal that there was a gas leak downstairs and they praise both Count Escobar (who unfortunately hit his head in the middle of the rescue) and Alessia, the daughter of the lawyer of the Marques, for the rescue.
• All characters are 'coming to' at different times, and the characters of Merrick and Appolonia have alredy departed with their families.

What you must do:
BEFORE making an IC action post, it is Desdamin's requirement that each character make a 'journal entry' for the following day.

Once each player has made a journal entry for their character(s), I will PM them with information vital to their IC action posts throughout the day.

Happy RPing everybody, and you have both Desdamin and my personal apologies that this was rushed.

*One and only one embraced character will 'somewhat' have memories of what has happened. They know, or will soon know, who they are.

So that would have been great to know before. So i'll just go delete my post again. Since I simply love doing that you know. I'll post the journal entry eventually since I seem to keep screwing things up...

BLACKllASH- Desdamin articlated this to me very clearly, and I hope I can express the same. He has recently been reading Dracula by Bram Stoker, where the embrace/turning works a little differently.

Typically, in order to turn a person and have them be completely undead at once, the Vampire would visit them night after night, sucking away at their life and their health until they were on their deathbed through this slow drainage with barely enough blood to keep them alive. Then then would be 'filled' with the vampire's blood and the transformation would be much quicker.

Since The Marques didn't do that- All those he embraced were in full health, and they received a very large portion of their own blood back mixed with the vampiric blood, the change is much slower. All of the embraced still have heartbeats and vitals, and as far as a few more of the details of how this will affect you is what I will PM each player after they make their journal post, so they will know what to expect on the first day of their 'new life'.

I hope this clarifies it a bit for you.

Much better! I thought by what Desdamin said before, they would all be changed and be laying on the Stone Tablets. So that is where my post came from. Sorry for the confusion..

I don't know how much I'll be posting the next few months. I'm working on getting my GED and have classes Monday and Wednesdays. And plan on studying when I get the chance to. I want to get it before my 22nd birthday.

Ixie- Good on you, Dear. Your real life always comes first. Right now dessdamin is in the hospital on some insane amount of morphene. Last month I was too busy adjusting to homelessness to tend to the montly signature link prizes in my charity (though I did give out three items worth at least 1000g of page 300). Real life hits all of us, and you must take care of yourself there before you can come back online and join us here. Ganbare! (Go for it!)

Crow- Desdamin and I have known each other for a couple years now, maybe long. He didn't tell me anything about the surgeries. I'll have to get onto him about this. I didn't get the chance to tell him about this.

Sorry about the confusion. I woul have been more explicit about stuff if I'd had the time. I'm still out of it... But I'll be back soon enough.

How long do we wait before we can make an IC post?

You can go ahead and make your IC post as soon as you've received the information, which all of you who have posted journal entries have.

I would have posted IC, but I've been spending some time giving my charity a little extra luff and care.

Indeed, the Crow is correct. While you may not be able to interact with my characters, feel free to set up whatever you wish, talk to whomever, etc. When I come back, I'll more than likely pull everyone back in with... some interesting little things I'm planning...

Also, I just read all the journal entries and I must say that I'm quite pleased. Really sets up for the mood of the rest of the game, and such. I can't wait to have the concentration and wherewithall to right my own and really move things along.

Hey everybody, whats up? What's going on? I've added a lexicon of terms which better defines some of the rules and whatnot and gives players a better idea of things, quite possibly. If anyone wishes to have anything explained, just ask and I'll include it in the first post.

I added a few things to the Lexicon plus a bonus 'funny'.

It should be known that after today Ill be eliminating characters and players that gave not been posting. Some of you have recently begun posting again, but I'm still looking for regular posting. If there is something in the story that youre unclear about or that you need help facilitating, then please let me know. It's my job and I'll help in any way possible. But I cannot do it for you.

I can help with ideas as well. Mind you, I'm only a helper of sorts and once Desdamin had to bonk me with the 'be good stick', but I'd like to imagine that I'm generally a helpful and reliable source for assistance.
