No, I was thinking of Spirit and Ether being a mix of the Energy and Physical elements. That way, it would make sense that Tali and Malone are the Balancers. ;)

How about this instead:
Light->Space because it can fly through it in no time
Space->Dark, because Dark gets left behind
Dark->Time because it isn't affected by Time
Time->Gravity because Time can resist the pull of Gravity to some degree
Gravity->Light because if it's strong enough, Light can't escape

Also: Maybe Malone and Tali should be permitted to utilize the elements they Balance, though not as much as the Stone-Bearers themselves. Like Malone could use Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning to some degree, while Tali can do the same with Light, Dark, Gravity, Space, and Time. :D

@ Papi: the only way 4 them 2 sign the contract is if they ask 4 it lol

@ Papi: the rules of the Contracts (there are only five rules but i will think of more):
1.) the master/mistress MUST ask the guardian of THEIR stone for it.
2.) the contract allows u to have the same power or different power of ur choice
3.) UR SIGNATURE MUST BE SIGNED IN UR BLOOD (2 spice things up lol)
4.) The guardian is allowed to sign the contract with u
5.) u must have a reason 2 sign the contract (it can be any reason)
6.) NO MATTER HOW STRONG U R, WAT U R OR UR RANK IN A FAMILY, THE SIDE AFFECT OF THE CONTRACT IS...THE MOMENT U START 2 FEEL DIZZY OR A LITTLE CRAZIER THAN USUAL...U WILL DO THE OPPOSITE OF WHY U SIGNED THE CONTRACT FOR AS LONG AS U LIVE!!!!
7.) the only way 4 the contract 2 be broken is if the master/mistress of the stone breaks the bond between the two 4 a moment....and it hurts like hell

Alright so everyone is being tested right now,to see if they can reach Pyre,and go forward in their various quests.A few people have already passed their test,while others are still going trough it.Malone,Jason,Tali and Onyx have all passed,and I suggest you have Zalia somewhere in the hall I was describing earlier.She's stuck there because all the doors are locked.No one can go forward until Emily passes her test,because she has the fire stone.

Many of the characters have elemental stones,and are accompanied by the beings that are bound to those stones as their guides.

On a side note: Your post mentions that Tali will lose her ability over fire. That's a racial ability as a Wisp, her being part phoenix. Because of that, I think it'd make more sense for her to lose her magical ability instead.

Or! Her fire could be like Spirit Fire! Therefore it would draw upon her spiritual energy, as well as her status as a Wisp! :D I always thought of a Wisp as a more spiritual being anyway, so it would work really well! ;)
