Oh wow! You're mental picture was a little better than mine! I just thought of him staring at the duster like, "What do I do with that?" But him crying in anger as he scrubbed the floor! Another image I wouldn't mind drawing, that.

I also thought it would give both characters a fresh viewpoint it being a new day and all. They both would probably wake up hoping the day before hadn't transpired, Mayao more so than Alexis. She would just assume that it was too crazy to happen, while he would be hoping he wasn't acutally in a small female body with his powers altered!

Really? I must have a knack for descriptions! I love descriptions, especially for scenes I like writing. I find it oddly hilarious to see Mayao in his female doll form to be brushing the floor on his knees and muttering to himself in anger and crying at the same time.

Oh, I'm getting another image in my head! The next morning Mayao pauses before opening his eyes and mutters that it was all just a bad dream, and he is still in the early 1600s with his friend and pet. Then when he opens his eyes and finds himself in the same large, clean room he fell asleep in, he just sits there and cries for half a minute, biting a pillow.

Ah ha ha! Oh, that's another one! My you are good! Almost devilishly so!
However, I did bump up the introduction of the job as maid to right now. But I'll make him have to start in the morning to be a bit compassionate. But him waking up would be hilarious!! My good sir, you've got a lot of funny drawings coming your way!!

Am I? I'm sure you are holding my amateur ability in too high a regard!
Most certainly. Although I did not allow Mayao to follow Alexis, since he, for reason unknown to him, is actually listening to what she is saying. Hopefully I'm not being a burden with them, though! When an idea comes to me, I just have to let it out some way!

Burden?! No! If I didn't have your humorous images, I wouldn't be laughing so much at night or have so much to look forward to with my drawings!
I caught on that he was actually listening. Which is good for Alexis. If he completely disregarded everything she said, there'd be some problems!
But what do you say? Should we make night come relatively soon? She could put him in a room and leave him to his thoughts.

Ah, I'm glad to know that. And I'm glad I can make someone laugh in a good way!
Oh, I would never make a character disregard what someone else says. I mean, I can make characters who do, but it's not like me.
Well, it looks like it's far enough along to make a time skip happen. Although I just had another... let us say humorous image of Mayao.

I just imagined Mayao waiting by the bench, but as soon as Alexis vanished into the house, he grabbed a loose branch and started smacking everything around him and yelling "How, how, how!?"

Also, an add to the powers of summon he can do. While he used to be able to summon big dogs and cats, now he can summon big-eyed puppies and little kittens. And when it happens, Mayao, being at a loss of words, just laughs weakly, the laugh turning into a whine of pity....

Yes, I read that you added that. And I decided not to make Alexis see... Though it had crossed my mind to make her be like, "what happened to that branch?"

Oh, it's sad! But humorous at the same time! It makes me feel a little bad for laughing, because it must be a miserable feeling. I ended up favoriting this thread so if I needed to remember the drawings I was going to do, I could just look at this! I'm excited to do them though!

I feel like, these kinds of moments are both funny and sad at the same time, where you feel sorry for them but cannot help but let a small laugh out! But the presence of this little kitty over here is just making me want to include one. And a cat demon as well, I should make the profile for Mayao's friend!

----------

Ah, and a question! Does the house have television, computers? Just to make that observation for Mayao.

I know! I've been staring at that cat the whole time. So cute!! Oh, that's going to be fun! Alexis world went from trying to find the best doll to demons!!

Yes, what a change! Amazing how with one action one's life can switch for, perhaps the better or worse. Or the unpredictable. Actually, I've suddenly got a good idea for a 'bad guy' who could be their main objective. Someone who could be considered an idiot, a little dim-witted generally but still rather smart, who revived the cat demon who is Mayao's friend without realizing that the two were ever linked in any way to do his dirty work.

Yes, yes! I like that!! Very good! And I like Mayao's reaction to the bed! After being pessimistic about everything he's like, Yes, a soft bed!

All right then. Would you like to help create the main 'bad guy' character? Since he would be controlled by both of us, it's only right we both have equal creation of him! But I thought you would like his reaction. He had never slept on a bed like that before and I thought I would let it be known. And the description of the computer was a bit of a dead end at first, until I thought the cords looked a lot like the appendages of a strange creature...

I'm sure that's what it would look like to someone who'd never seen one before! And him waking up thinking it was a dream and then seeing the walls was like, Aw, poor Mayao!

As for our bad guy... He could be from say a line of exorcists like Alexis, only they were lower on the spectrum then her family. So he thought of using a demon for dirty work. Not only would he be disliked by Mayao for the fact that he was using his friend, but also by Alexis for warping the role and linage of being an exorcist.

I love invoking a sense of pity in the otherwise hilarious situations some of my characters are put in. Makes it a mix of emotions that seem to work well in a way.

Oh, I like that. Wait! He could be related to the Hughes, being an exorcist of lower value and never able to reach the potential the rest of the family could in either doll-making or exorcism, depending on which one he is obsessed with, and left the house in an anger, taking some of their past with him in form of books, items, and the sealed soul of Mayao's friend.

Aha!!! I really like that! Like... Hmmm, what type of relation? He could be the brother that no one talks about. And the books that he took could possibly hold the answers to freeing Mayao from the doll! Yes... Oh and if we really wanted to make him a villian he coud be a bit of a creeper and like, have a weird fascination with dolls, but all his dolls are a) either badly made or b) are made in a creepy way. You know what I mean? Someone with an almost perturbed infatuation with dolls could make some creepy dolls...

And I'm freaking myself out since I'm not to fond of dolls. Especially a lot of dolls... Oh, and his house or where ever he resides could have a room filled with dolls...

I just gave myself a creeped out shiver.

Oh, the brother! Perhaps he could be Randall's fraternal older twin? He took off after constantly being looked down upon and went halfway crazy. And, maybe we could change the fascination with dolls to an obsession with finding out how to extract the soul of the demon he found into a marionette of sorts, then transfer it into a more stable medium? But instead, he found a way to bring the demon out of the item fully intact in his normal body? But then again, once the demon's soul resides in its medium for twenty-four hours, it's impossible to transfer. So bad luck for Mayao!
Then he sends the demon out to the Hughes household to take them off guard while he tries to collect the soul of Mayao, which he has no idea has already been taken out of its choker?

I hate dolls. Especially the porcelain dolls that Allie has in her room. They remind me of that movie! Their soulless, unblinking eyes and perfect little faces.... Oh, it's horrifying! And she has a whole collection. Whenever I pass her room and the door is open, I have to close it.

I like the twin idea. With Randall as the smart, breadwinner and the other... Not. Yes and that would enter the demon in first, so the bad guy/twin would still remain in the shadows. Poor Mayao. Ah and since the choker was only just found by Alexis, this twin would have no idea that Mayao's soul had been put in the doll.

I can't even think about them... The worst thing for me are dolls that are also clowns! I don't like clowns and I break out in a cold sweat. My uncle told me he was going to dress up as a clown and hide in my closet, waiting until I fell asleep before coming out. I checked my closet for like, two weeks afterwords.

Oh, we should at least give him the benefit of the doubt! The brother could be rather smart in exorcism and how it works, though was never able to execute his abilities as well as anyone else. Being an idiot, mostly in his common sense area, he was a bit of a black sheep. A good idea to enter the demon first. He would have to wear a hat and at least a long trench coat to hide his ears and tail, though. It would be just as good, though, to bring Mayao into his demon form before they see him as a doll, or realize directly who he is if they see him in his doll form.

I'm all right with clowns. Even after reading and watching IT, I slept fine. Of course it was my overly-logical mind that deciphered every logical impossibility that presented itself in the stories, mostly for the fact that I was completely unrelated to the protagonists of the stories. I have an easy to follow mind sometimes, know? But if someone threatened to dress up as anything and hide in my closet, I would keep that door wide open at all times!

Oh our poor, poor idiot weirdo. Not even an idiot weirdo but completely misunderstood by everyone! It could be that he was just bad at showing people his skills, like performance anxiety. So how should we go about entering the demon in and having Mayao return to his body at that time?

I don't know what it is. It's completely irrational, but most fears like that are. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is about them that scares me. I saw IT, and the movie scared me but I didn't have nightmares and clowns have never given me nightmares. But there's just something about them... I'm afraid and absolutley repulsed by them.

Poor misunderstood idiot weirdo brother to Randall! Yes, and since he is alone in his home, he can bring out his demon easily since no one else is around.
Ah, I know! Perhaps after he is given his tremendous list of chores to do, Alexis goes to find out how to bring Mayao back into his real body. Although before there is time to relay the message, the demon will come to the house and Mayao will not recognize him at first. But I had a problem with figuring out how to prevent a... well, the best way to say it would be a wardrobe malfunction. Perhaps, since his soul was trapped, his entire being was trapped and when he returns to normal, he will have his normal clothes on under the dress.

I feel sad for clowns. Poor fools! But no matter how much logic I try to put into it, I cannot get over the fear of those creepy dolls of Allie's. Or anyone's! Or those dolls in general.

Ah, then I suppose I'll do that in the next post of mine. She's going to take him to the closet then she'll probably go look around. I never thought of that, that would be a little too embarassing for poor Mayao. So yes, putting his clothes under the dress would be better.

Yes, dolls, clowns and especiall the (and there's now way I'm going to spell this correctly) vantriliquist dolls. Those are the scariest of all!

All right, that sounds good to me! Though I would never subject my Mayao to be embarrassed like that! It would look terrible anyway, I'm sure. Well, my mind is sure, and it's also sure it would never want to see that image again! Oh, it's sure. And so am I!

Really? Ventriloquist dolls? So, you dislike Jeff Dunham's standup comedy, then?

Haha! I can agree with you on that! Ah, sometimes being a visual learner has a severe downside. I always picture whatever anyone says, so if its something disagreeable, that's what I picture.

His are okay, because they're not the creepy wooden ones with the funny mouths and the huge eyes that blink. Jeff Dunham's are soft looking and one's a chili so those are okay.
