So, I was watching a funny spoof song about villains that was too Lady Gaga's Paparazzi... But Paparazzi was substituted with "Nazi" and listening to it... I was overcome by the desire to rp as a truly evil people. (I know that not all Nazis were terrible people- I actually have a good friend who's grandfather was a Nazi Pilot...) But I was thinking about the idea of playing a Nazi or someone similar (maybe our own world with a made up war and armies and countries, etc.) who is/was truly evil.

We could go the route of an earth like place with a similar group to the nazi's. That way we don't have to try and mimic real places?

I'm good with either. Just sort of throwing out idea's at this point.

Alright, and I was thinking the times would be slightly different than our own. :) So, some of the fashion is similar to past fashions, but not exactly around the same period? Like, some clothing and culture is from slightly earlier than our WWI.

Are we keeping this to the strictly gadgetty part of steampunk? Or are we bringing in the magic aspect a lot of people like to draw in.

Hm... I'm not sure. I wasn't thinking so much magic as just very unlikely-science? :lol: Like in the book Leviathan with giant flying animals that have been spliced using science and combined with machines. (Although, I'm thinking we wouldn't use animals in this way).

I think as long as we're careful, we could definitely have a holocaust of our own. It would add to our evil ness.

:yes: That way we could open up room for having unique characters. Soldiers, family members of those being hunted by the soldiers... Maybe even combining elements from the Russian Revolution and the Romanov family (those could be the Monarchs that we spoke of above).
