its alright. two of mine just died. I killed one and my partner killed the other. Those were both of my rps with the same character. dead a day from each other.
I guess that is good for you then, but I personally always hate to see an RP die.
one of the rps I was sad to see go. I kill rps all the time though.
As do I. RPs are cool and all to me, but it is hard for me to really get into them the way I should.
I love starting rps, but sometimes they quickly cool off. more than anything, I just like having new stories.
I love seeing where a new story will go. One time I started two stories exactly the same. The first went to one friend, the second to another. I just wanted to see where the two stories would go with similar situations, but different authors. It was very interesting indeed.
that's an interesting project. did they get really different?
As different as night is to day. It was crazy. In the beginning I tried to model all my response to be the same, but it quickly became impossible to do. It just shows how differently my friends thought out different situations and issues. They had very different approaches to problems. It was a very interesting project.
that sounds fun. I want to do something like that.
It was rather difficult to do. I mean, I had to carefully pick the two to do it with me because I had to trust that they wouldn't share with each other the details of the stories. I didn't want any contamination. If one had leaked info to the other then the second's response could have been affected by what the first had written and would have skewed the results. But yes, it was a mess load of fun. Seeing how two different brains handled the same situation showed a lot about my friends. And reviewing both stories with all my writer friends afterwards proved that none of my friends thought similarly. Each one of the 7 friends had a different idea of how each issue should have been handled. I have to admit, even my solutions were different than any of my friends'. Of course it didn't help any that both friends' characters were complete opposites. One character was a shy introvert who talked with animals and used a sword while the other was an overly expressive extrovert who worked magic (specifically fire magic) and wielded a bow ans arrows. I feel that definitely affected the way they solved problems.
hm, interesting. you obviously thought a lot about that.
Yeah, just a little. I kinda go all out whenever I do experiments, even if it is as silly as one like I detailed earlier.
I can't tell you're a science-y person.
Oh, I am a very science-y person. I totally love science!! It is so my favorite subject!! It is so interesting how and why things work.
obviously. you reek of it.
Lol, yeah, I do. Or maybe that smell is sweat. I could totally use a shower.
>__< nice to know. good thing scent doesn't translate over the internet!
Lol, it was a joke!! I kinda like that we still have this thread open. It means that there is someone who is actually talking to me and not around me like in other threads.
it is nice i suppose but isn't it weird using an OOC thread for just chatting?
.....well, I'm not exactly known for my unweirdness.....
uh, true.
but it makes more sense to chat in a chat thread. |
Yeah, I guess it does make sense.....
it really does.
Well, then what chat thread should we chat in?? There are tons on here.
I dunno. just start chatting somewhere.
