It will allow the augmented sense to get to the point that it not only is more aware of the physical but also the spiritual. She can make her eyes see things like a microscope or see into another realm or whatever. It can only do one thing at a time though. I.e. if she has microscope level vision she can't see into another realm at the same time and so on.

well i want her to be able to sacrifice two or more senses to do some physical power to defend herself with xD. I've thought of having her funnel it into adrenaline to make her body faster or stronger or whatever but I'm not sure that'd be good for a forensic tech, so i think it should be something else... Being we're treating psychic as a natural part of the human ability I suppose there's always telekinesis but i'd prefer something else xD.

Well, their powers don't have to do anything with their job. I see no problems with her routing her sensory power to give her a sort of "mind over matter" thing. It would be an extreme version of what people do all the time in the face of adversity: blocking pain and discomfort (hunger, cold, heat, ect) while enhancing durability, speed, strength and skill. It's also a mental thing, people distance parts of their mind from the situation to deal with things that would normally make someone repulsed or even snap.

You also have to keep in mind they will probably all have to fight at some point so her having something like that would be very useful.

True... I just wonder if I should make something less obviously combat related. I mean their powers is suppose to kinda relate to why they were assigned what category they were... though her personality would make them want to remove her from combat as much as possible i suppose xD. Still I do wish i could make it less physical/fighter based since i'm bad at that usually too.. but I dont know what else to do other then adrenaline enhancing the body that makes sense you know?

It doesn't have to be combat-relevant, though. Such a skill can help her rationally deal with a situation that makes others freak out, thus making her able to calm them and help them to cope. She may do that sort of thing mentally anyway to deal with seeing some corpses, people in that field of work often do.

Also, I would figure that while yes, they would aim for their skill set to match their powers well, if the person just doesn't have a mind for the task, forcing them to do it is the worst thing you could do. The people training them should know that. I mean, Lucen's power of healing would make him idea for being on the front line, so to speak, but he would not be able to handle it mentally, so he would be very ill-suited for the task.

True. I'd still rather it be more obviously mental based, but I can't think of anything xD. though I suppose having super strength when getting bodies out of rubble or whatever would have it's purposes too >.> and in combat evading and throwing heavy objects and running could be her main focus. And maybe it helps her aim? her main weapon could just be hand guns and being a super shot maybe? xD.

Hai, it would and yea, she would be able to move faster an register/process things faster and more clearly so she'd be able to get herself and other non-combative people away from stuff. And yes, I could see it helping her aim as well.

hmm okay XD so i'll just make it her brain can not only switch off senses to boost another but instead boost adrenaline instead of one of her senses. I also like her being able to use her eyes as a microscope and being a forensic tech XD even though i don't know much about forensics >.<
