Alright children, if you want to create a few characters that won't necessarily live to see the next page of the rpg then this is the place for you. From tornadoes to plane crashes to comets hitting the earth... we are going to role play them all. Whatever the group decides, we will attempt to hack to pieces. Small role plays one after the other with our characters facing different scenarios. For the sake of allowing everyone to enjoy this roleplay, we are asking that you post once a day so that others don't fall behind. If you can post within reason more than once a day, that is fine. However, give others a chance to respond.

Rules:

1. Obey the moderators. That would be... well... Smores and maidenroseheart I think...
2. Post just once a day unless everyone has had a chance to post. Don't leave a fellow Menewshian behind.
3. If you find yourself lost or behind, ask... I'm glad to help catch you up or brainstorm.
4. Please, spell correctly... or at least within reason. There shouldn't be texting on cellphones lingo going on here.
5. If you going to leave the role play and move on to other things - great. Just say goodbye first and kill off your characters. We want to wish you well and your characters need closure.
6. Have just two or three characters in play in any given scenario per person. If there are a lot of players in that story, be nice and stick with two. If a few people are taking a break, be brave and use three. Just a suggestion, an important suggestion.

Clothes: Bart’s fashion sense is a little less than interesting. It can best be described as simply clean cut. His closet is filled with plain, colored shirts and button ups as well as dark and solid jeans, slacks, and a few pairs of neglected shorts. To even be considered and kept, the items must fit well- not at all baggy or loose. Bart usually dresses for the season (except the frequent wearing of pants when shorts would be much more appropriate). When winter rolls along, he has a set of argyle sweaters and sweater vests that really don’t belong in the closet of someone below the age of 60. To complete this look, he has a single, black trench coat and plaid scarf for when snow takes over. His favorite items of clothing are the mittens knitted for him by his recently passed grandmother and a matching cap.
Alcohol: Social drinker- though often left out as the designated driver
Smoking: Nope- tried once in high school and nearly hacked a lung out

Misc: the roommate spoken of earlier is little Sterling. Initially, the two didn’t get along and only put up with one another, but they’ve grown to like the company - even if it endangers Bojangles.
Picture/Description (optional): A young man with high ambitions, Bartholomew makes himself out to look the part. He’s usually very clean shaven, though traces of what looks like it could develop into a full beard show through and grow quickly enough to give him that five o’clock shadow. If left alone for a week or two, he could take on the role of a mountain man. His blue eyes are set slanted at such an angle that gives him an always determined look, which is further brought out by naturally pouted lips (the bottom being disproportionally larger than the upper). To further support this, all of his rectangular and sharp features sit upon a face with equal, clean definition. The sharp jawline is especially notable.

In the tradition of his family, Bartholomew stands tall and proud, with well-defined muscles from the frequent trips to gyms with his father as a teen and the continued habit of health as a young man. Despite years in school, Bartholomew managed to avoid all of the usual weight gain (even that infamous freshman fifteen), except for the extra mass from actually managing to grow up to the age of 24.

Oh yeah, and his hair. He has thick locks of wavy, brown hair, cut short in a simple style.

Occupation: music tutor: guitar, saxophone, clarinet, and cheap (emphasis on cheap- like “I stay one step ahead of the student”) piano and drums, employed at a small café, part-time student

Clothes: Sterling often dresses in layers, making it seem as though he was always cold, though it is rare that temperature really ever affects him. Often, he’ll take on a dreamy sort of look that makes it clear he likes to ignore outside factors and enjoy a life created in his own head. The majority of his wardrobe is faded and worn; he’s even been known to wear a tattered shirt because he happened to pick it out of the pile. Too busy saving money for strings or that odd percussion instrument found in one of the fleeting corner shops, it’s rare that Sterling takes time off to find himself something from before first entering university.

Picture/Description (optional): The structure of Sterling’s face is wide with high cheekbones. It is probably ovular, though bordering a circular shape. Upon his face sits a long nose, punctuated by a less extreme version of the bump on his father’s nose (on his father, it created a beak-like look from the side). His dark, almond-shaped eyes sit high on his face and seem to be always scrutinizing, as he has the habit of darting his gaze around. To cover his eyes are a set of just slightly uneven eyelids with little definition from the bottom to the eyebrow. Low, smoothly curved, and friendly eyebrows are almost always hidden by overgrown hair in a shade so brown, that it’s often mistaken for black when not inspected in full sunlight. His thin lips almost always come bearing a wide smile that flashes almost straight teeth. The most interesting feature of his face would likely come there, where his bottom lip doesn’t seem to align just right and clearly forms a scar from a dog bite he’d gotten as a toddler, which also likely had messed up his dentistry. On closer examination, one can very easily see it is a tooth where the dog would have hit that is slanted to the right, tossing off the arrangement of his bottom teeth just slightly.

Sterling stands at about 5’ 9” with a generally proud posture. He tends to lean toward the leaner side, though having always had a horribly fast metabolism; when he is sick or skips meals, he quickly falls to almost looking emaciated. Thin shoulders are always made to look broader by the jacket he always wears, no matter how high the temperature. His digits are incredibly long and wiry, something he’d always considered something of a gift, as it allowed him to reach more awkward chords with ease. With closer examination, it becomes apparent that much of his life tends to revolve around his new found passion. His fingernails are generally fairly long by male standards, as he only ever sees fit to trim them when they interfere with his playing. When they are trimmed, they’re uneven and coarse, as he tends to bite them out of frustration upon hearing a single buzz or off note.

I like it. I think it is my first one... I might have made one before without meaning to... but this is my first official one and am darn proud of it!

May I suggest a zombie apocalypse scenario? It's pretty much become a standard survival plot and I've always wanted to RP one ^^ Oh, and should we provide a picture/description? You don't have a place for that on the profile.

There should be a tsunami, an earthquake and an alien invasion!

Those are good too Pap-chan ^^ are we going to do any research on these before hand or are we just winging it? I'll probably be reading up a bit either way, seeing as the character I picked has a bit of survivalist training.

I'll probably be using my nervous wreck of a character... It's gonna be hilarious. >< I don't know how much research I'll be doing.

XD fun! And yes, I'm playing Ren ^^ I don't remember if you've met him before though. He has a bit of an advantage because his grandfather taught him stuff about survival, though he hasn't had to use much of it outside of camping and hiking. Oh, but he a naturally heightened/abnormal heart rate which can cause all kinds of fun side effects when he's under stress.

Aletta's afraid of everything! I think she might spend a lot of time clinging and screaming to people, and hiding... And running.

Hmm, does he have red hair and tattoos? If so might have.
