I'll try to explain my vision better:::

The fae kingdom is more like a village but it is surrounded by high stone walls, a waterfall -where syn currently is-, and the only way out is the path blake guards. The kingdom is made up of homes made of natural materials, but the castle is carved INTO the mountain that surrounds the village of the kingdom. About 5 miles from there is the shore where the human have settled. FOr the settlement, i was picturing something basic like from the movie Disney's Pocahantis.(s/p)
