".... I looked out my window and toward the lake where voices and music could be heard and my heart sank. I could hear the laughter and it sank even further. I was fifteen and nearing my sixteenth birthday where I would undergo the surgery required to become a 'Pretty', as they were called. I still wasn't sure if I wanted to become a Pretty but I knew it was my only option. Some of the other kids had spoken about running away to a place they called 'The Smoke' but I'm not brave enough to face the Wardens if we were caught.
So I'll continue to sit here, looking out over the fields and through the trees towards the lights coming from over the lake and beyond the hill, dreading the day when I would plucked from my easy life and thrust into the lights and music of Pretty Town and lose all innocence I left behind here in Uglyville ....."

the world we know is a very different place ...
the old world is now known as the "Rusty Ruins" because over the time we used so much metal that over an even longer period of time it had all but deteriorated and rusted and ended up collapsing around us. The cause? The creation of an "oil bug" that caused oil to combust when it came into contact with oxygen.
the survives of the collapse decided that action had to be taken to prevent this happening in the future. They chose to spread out into cities, where they gradually became self sufficient and eco-friendly, and integrated the operations into the world.
one of the main points of the operation was to extend the halo effect to all citizens, which was an idea that beautiful people had better fortune. This "halo effect" helped in reducing disputes and violence. However, they were not satisfied enough with the results, so they decided to develop a brain lesion (purposely damaged brain tissue) that made people compliant and pleasant.
some people became aware of the operation, and the lesions, and decided that they couldn't live in a place where something of that magnitude was happening. Villages like "The Smoke" were established to give citizens a place to go to avoid the lesions, and to be separated from society. The Smoke was also a place where two outlaw doctors named Maddy and Az studied how people who didn't have the brain damage behaved to determine its effects and possibly discover a cure. T he remaining citizens decided to become completely self-sufficient in their own cities and have barely any contact out of that city.
To keep everyone under control, they created a surgery to make an "Ugly" a "Pretty". When you are born and begin to grow you are known as a "Littlie". Between the ages of thirteen and fifteen you are known as an "Ugly" and live in Uglyville. When you turn sixteen you get the surgery to supposedly turn you "Pretty".
the procedure is simple they will tell you. Widen your eyes while also laser cutting them to give you a life of good sight, making your lips to the fullest possible and giving you flawless skin. What more could you want?
Once you have gotten the surgery you then move across the river to "Pretty Town" with all the other young Pretties. As you get older you move from place to place, including the Middle Pretties and then onto the Older Pretties.

one ;; as a pretty you will undergo a "Face Ranking". the smaller your number the higher your fame and more known/famous you become.
two ;; as a Pretty, never leave Pretty Town.
three ;; if leaving Pretty Town to find The Smokes, all involved must carry on their persons a small device that will be given to them by a character of my choosing.
four ;; as an Ugly, you are highly encouraged to skip curfew and sneak out. but do so at your own will, if caught you will still be punished by Wardens.

my name is Alexandria Marie Roberts

my story starts off like this Growing up as a Littlie I had a pretty easy life. My mother was a Hairdresser working for the Hospitals around Pretty Town and namely New Pretty Town making all those Pretties as beautiful as I wanted to be. My Father was a Banker and seemed to enjoy his job. It wasn't a lavish life but it was my life. Growing up I had wanted to be famous, by any means necessary. my mother convinced me otherwise and very young I dropped my dreams of fame and fortune and faded into the background as I grew older.
Midget was my nickname as an Ugly and it fit pretty freakin' well. I was a goody-goody and pulled only minor pranks, if any at all which kept me off the radar which at the time I wanted. I had heard stories from some of the other Uglies about what the Wardens did if you were caught and God knows I didn't want any of that!
Now I am finally sixteen and have only just moved out of that ugly little place and are ready to now burst forth and claim the fame that I feel is only rightfully mine. I'm still trying to find my Clique and I have been here for 5 months now. They say if you can't find a clique within your first year of being a New Pretty you don't ever find one so right now I'm on edge.

my personality goes a little like this I am a little different from other New Pretties. As a New Pretty, I am still trying to find who I am and what I want to do. I cannot wait uuntil I finally find my clique and find my place in Pretty Town. You could say I'm complicated. I do get angry and I do get annoyed, much to everyone's annoyance and dismay. But you will find nobody more warm hearted, more kind and even loud then me.
I am just a small little Pretty trying to find her place in this big beautiful world.

I look like this but don't be fooled. Messy blonde hair frames a small, pale, round face with bright green eyes surrounded by full black lashes. The image of perfection they called me as I walked out of the hospital. The picture of health standing at a small five foot four and a skinny one hundred pounds, to short to be considered model beauty and just that little bit to tall to be called cute and adorable.

my story starts off like this I grew up simply enough. Made the transition from Littilie to Ugly and onto Pretty like all the others, but there was something always gnawing at my being for something ..... more. For danger and more excitement that being a simple little Pretty could offer. I was a trouble maker of sorts while I was a Pretty and so as you can image I collected quite a file with the Government and collected quit a handful of helpful skills that only being a member of The Crims could offer.
The last two years of my Pretty life came and went and before I knew it, at the age of twenty, I was singing away my life to become a Special and finally take my first steps out into an unshaded world. In my four years of being a Special i have been on countless missions and each one no easier then my first. I have recently joined the Cutters, a group of special Specials that pride themselves on perfection in battle and also in stealth which I excel at.

my story starts off like this I don't remember much of my life before the Crims, I try to forget about it and move on but from what I do remember it wasn't easy. Always eager to please and 'fit in' I was the one you caled for all the odd jobs nobody else wanted to do and because of that I was always in trouble.
Being a Crim my life is quite similar to this but it does have it's perks. For example I can safely call the unofficial Leader of the Crims my boyfriend, even if he isn't all to showy about it. Right now my lie is simple and I'm happy with it but as everyone has picked up, things are starting to die down and everyone's eager for a bit of excitment.

my story starts off like this I was born as Catherine Jones, just your average little ugly. My parents weren't particularly strict, nor were they harsh. My friends were normal, not wild or crazy, but society wasn't. Society judged my ugly little face, deeming it pudgy, pinched, dirty, and disturbing. True, I was among the uglier uglies, and I accepted that. I learned to keep my emotions locked deep inside, and to stay happy on the outside. When I became a pretty, I was bubbly, full of life. I had tons of friends...but somehow, over the course of a few years, this kind of lifestyle started to bore me. I started to want to do something....something outrageous. Something that left a tingle in my toes. And that was...risky things, like from back when I was an Ugly. However, I still kept that sweet and happy personality out there, just for the fun of it.

I have yellow eyes that are angular with practically slits for pupils, and under my hat, two ears shaped like a kitten's. Likewise, a cat tail is hidden inside my dress.

my story starts off like this Me? Really? Well, let's start. Hm, abusive father and suicidal mother. Yeah. Boo hoo, what a sob story. Who the hell cares anymore. I didn't. I still don't, it's like it happened with a separate entity of mine or something. Ah well. What's done is done. However, I did learn self defense and martial arts to evade my father's attacks. He was quite strong, you know. I killed him in the end, by breaking his neck in one swift move. Except for the fact that I didn't remember any of it, and there was blood everywhere. Instead of becoming a pretty when i was sixteen, I was directly turned special. When I became a special, it was amazing. Chills ran down my spine when I looked at myself. I was beautiful for the first time. Although the ears were a bit overdone, I got used to them. They helped me hear better, and the tail helped with balance. I was given katanas to fight with, and mastered them quickly. Becoming a cutter made me..more icy. I thought clearer, and nothing was a true obstacle. Nothing really mattered besides getting the job done. I guess...I don't miss my old life anymore.

my story starts off like this growing up from from little to pretty, I was always one of the popular girls. I was invited to everything, I knew everyone and always knew what was going on. Even though as an ugly, I rarely did any pranks on anyone. Only a few, and there were not even my idea. Oddly though I was never pressured by it. I think it was because of my bright red hair. Their had been a few rumors around middle school that when I got mad, my hair would turn to fire. Burning whoever made me mad. But of coarse, those were false. Thats where I got my nickname, "Red" and it stuck.

Once turning sixteen, and receiving my second surgery, It seemed only rational to join the Swarm. I would be always around others. I work as a model in pretty town. Or at least that is where it all started. My natural red hair is something many photographers just love to capture. My face, or body, is one of those you see everywhere. I am in Clothing shops, make up advertisements. I began a singing career soon after my eighteenth birthday. One of my Photographer's brothers worked in recording and wanted to sign me, and I have excelled threw that. My name is a pretty big deal around this Town. And I love every second of it. Even with such a busy schedule, I always have time for my Swarm family.

I have cancelled appointments for them. Lately, I have been paired up with Ghost. I bring him everywhere with me. Well, when he wants to come. I like the man, but don't let him know!

my personality goes a little like this I am very outgoing. I know what I like, and when to work for it. Yes, I do know the value of a dollar. Since I make those dollars. I also do not like to be left alone. I need to be around people. Or even one person. Just as long as I am not alone.

I look like this when I put effort into it. With my lifestyle, I always want to have those louge around the house days. Most of the time when I go out to swarm meetings I wear sweatpants with my hair pulled back. Simple and quick. When I go to the mall, most would not even recognize me. Then again in some of the lingerie ads, I would prefer to avoid the questions. But of coarse, when I need to look good, I always look good. Many would argue even on my bad days, I still am beautiful.

my story starts off like this I was born 11 years before my younger sister Alexandria was. I didn't even know of her exhistance until I saw her exiting the Hospital after her operation.
I don't remember much from when I was an Ugly and even younger but i remember my Pretty days all to well. Even after my own operation into becoming a Special. Back then I was a troublemaker, a rouge, a leader. I was once the leader of The Crims, a well known clique of proclaimed Bad-Asses and I like to think I did well leading them for seven years until I was finally sick of the lies and the constant need for something more and so I ran away and found out the Government, pleading for something different and something 'Special'.
And so here I am. A Special for four years now i have undergone numerous surgeries to change my once black and dark eyes to a bright blue and allowing my tattoos to blend into the pigments of my skin when need be. I am known as a Cutter now. Not a Leader but a mere I am merely biding my time before I can rise again and take control.
I was made to protect her. She's new, and extremely inexperienced but I will steer her in the right path. She doesn't remember me, doesn't know me and she probably never will if I do this right but she will be free of this and I will take her away to live a better life

my story starts off like this When I was a littlie, I had quite a nice life. My parents were both hardworking white collar folks that did a lot of monitoring of the more criminal Pretties. I was always fascinated with their work. Father was an agent of sorts. Mother was a psychiatrist that analyzed and projected the route of the Pretties. I dreamed of being like them. I wasn't about to schmooze my way into the positions of my parents and forever be a lab rat to this "beautiful" world.

I pulled enough pranks to probably put me on the "baddies" list. Probably would have been punished, but, with my parents being who they were, those in control decided to let me live and rebel.

Upon coming of Pretty, I was allowed to pick my mark or place in life. For me, it was an all too easy pick. I wanted to run with The Crims for rumor had it that they were looking for a new leader. For seven years, I have ran with this band of thugs, knowing that my time to shine would come. I can sense it. Soon. Very soon I will reign command over this bunch of Pretty misfits….

my personality goes a little like this Personality. What defines a personality when we're all being controlled and pushed toward happiness? I like to think a personality is what sets us apart, but, apparently, it's our faces that define who we are. So, if we run with that fact that the looks of a man define who he is, then it should be noted that I am charming with a hint of bad boy. In my eyes there lies a desire to break free from this prison of normality and beauty. My lips twist up to reveal my devious mind that has been allowed to think freely for various assigned tasks. my story starts off like this Right from the get-go, I was labeled Ghost. Apparently pale skin, white hair, and eerie whitish blue eyes makes everyone fear you. So, for most of my upbringing, I was shunned and feared. Now, when I finally became an Ugly, Ghost officially became my nickname. The only thing I never understood was why people suddenly took an interest to me. I was immediately one of the "popular" uglies, despite my ghostly features. But I never let this get to my head. I wasn't into that type of thing. I was a loner. Still am. And yet, when I left the world of Uglies and became a Pretty, I found a home with The Swarm. Perhaps all those years alone finally pushed me over the edge to the point that I craved attention, love, and… family.

Anyway, I've been with the family (The Swarm) for four years now. I cannot imagine my life without them. Although still a loner, I still partake in all pack meetings and have been paired up with a very pretty young lass who I've developed a crush on.

my personality goes a little like this Lone wolf. For a while, I thought this would be my nickname, but it wasn't. Just just became a term to describe me. "Ghost, the lone wolf." That was my name and my title. But, by being a lone wolf, I've learned to grow and shine in ways I never though possible. I'm flexible and adaptable, willing and able to conform to anything that doesn't defy my moral beliefs. I'm also independent, no longer counting on people to help me reach my full potential. But, I'm also dependent. I can count on others and I know how to thank those that keep me safe. I'm help, responsible, and loving. I'm told I'm too empathetic and sweet sometimes.

All in all, I'm a loner who knows the importance of family, love, and trust.

I look like this when I'm working an angle. I have super pale icy blue eyes and thin, white hair that really does its own thing. I stand at about six foot five and I'm a pole. Meaning, I weigh significantly less than I should for my height. Anyway, I have a scar on my collar bone that I hate to show off (which is why I wear shirts with high necks). I should probably point out that I have a studded nip piercings. Don't ask why….

My story starts off like this: As an Ugly I was "Wallflower." My eyes were always a bit girly, and I was small and quiet. I hated myself, and I hated everyone around me. I suppose it helped contribute to my reckless behavior. I didn't care if I got into trouble - I just did it anyway.

After being the problem child of the family, I was finally graduated to Pretty status. Right. That was a few years back, and I'm still trying to find a high that will get me up to what it used to.

I miss the feeling of being an Ugly . . . but I now have a higher status.

Niya! Oh man. I loved her. I think if I were to bring that story back, I might change it completely. I might swap out Rroy for my Tony Stark like character, Serk. And then Aleu would be replaced with Serk's butler, Calister. Those two are a real riot. I think they would make things fun because their personality clash sooooo much. :3

Noel. I have a feeling he's going to become a real pain. I can sense it now. A bad boy personality with the bad boy charm. No wonder he's in The Crims. It just screams his name. And he's a schemer so it's only natural that he play mind games with people.

I really like the name change! It's prettyful. :D And I think (hope) Wavi is here to stay. I like Mene 10 times more than most of those other sites. I just wish Mene had a 13+ section... but oh well.
