The general idea is as follows-----

A cemetery just outside a small village-like town is home to various long-dead. Recently, however, some children have awakened from their deaths, as various supernatural creatures. When the townsfolk saw this, they called it a curse and fled, leaving the cemetery, their town, and everything they owned behind, fearing the curse may follow. Now it's a ghost town in the middle of an old forest, and the children now run it.

How can they get along? What do they do all day and night?

How do they live now that they're not... alive?

Hmm... I only feel like doing one character, but as the story progresses, I could do more. (I get so attached to my characters. I really am falling for Squirrel right now XD) I will play a boy, I know that for sure. Hmmm....
Name: Sabri
Age (when he died): 8
Race (now that he's been cursed): Vampire/Necromancer.
Description: Long white hair, red eyes and pale skin. Sharp fangs that are visible with his mouth closed. Skinny with long thin fingers.
Bio: He has the power over the dead, but cannot control the cursed children. He can manipulate skeletons, spirits and corpses to do his bidding. He also attracts bats and black cats, though he is allergic to fur. He's afraid of the dark, monsters and dislikes the sight of blood. It's a shame he has to drink blood, else he becomes lethargic. He was among the first children to arise from the grave.

What an adorable little vampire-necromancer! I'll have to try to rival him!

Name: Benny
Age (when he died): 10 years old
Race (after death): Zombie witchdoctor
Description: Black hair streaked with dusty gray, shoulder-length, off-white to grayish skin, one red eye and one yellow-orange, a chewed ear and very, very thin frame, limbs that can detach but are easily reattached with his own power.
Bio: Benny was otherwise friendless because of his odd behavior, and his enjoyment in killing small animals. Now he has power over spirits and tends to bring adult corpses to life as puppets to get a laugh, if only out of himself. He can become a group of rats and while he finds his detachable limbs very helpful, it becomes difficult at times to keep them on his body. His eyes are sensitive to the sunlight, when they're in his head at least. He likes sleep and finds it interesting to wander the town, thinking up what might have happened if the living had remained. He was the first child to rise, and helped a couple others out of their own graves.

Ehehehehe what an adorable little creep. It makes me remember the movie Anastasia, where they made Rasputin able to detach his body parts at will. I wonder how that worked out for him and his legendary... *ahem* man parts. XD

I kind of based him on a skeleton character in the MMORPG I play.
Hm.... Probably lost them quickly. *evil laugh*

I'd assume Sabri doesn't get along with Benny very well. I'd imagine Sabri is one of the people Benny enjoys pranking. Sabri uses his powers only to help others or himself. If something needs a lot of manpower to do etc.

Well, I wouldn't say that. ------ Wait, Beeny? Like Beany Baby? Bah, whatever. I'd assume Benny lays around a lot, but considering he helped the other kids out of their grave, he likes to help. But he's a bit of a crazy type, a crazy killer in very early stages, and never could get away from animals because he died too early. He does like to brighten the mood a little, but knows when to draw the line.

But we mustn't think too much about it! Maiden has taken off for a while and I'd hope she gets back from her nap so we can all get acquainted and talk about it so we're all specifically on the same page!

I'm here awake and... er... refreshed! *wraps wet hair into a towel* and as always happens when I take a shower, I have finally created my character :)

Name: Rei Kikyo
Age (when she died): 14
Race: Oriental Priestess
Description: Long black hair, pale skin, black eyes, white shirt with red pants (oriental style of course), with a bag worn at the hip filled with powder, paper, and little balls.
Bio: She was traveling with the Chinese workers who helped build a railroad nearby. She herself wasn't Chinese, but Japanese. Killed. Buried. Still buried. Watch out, she once lived with the purpose of banishing demons. So those pieces of paper might not feel very good if she gets one stuck on you ;) Has soul collectors to provide for her needs... when she is not buried that is.

Heheheh sounds fun. LOL We all have the power over spirits/skeletons/corpses/demons :D
Hi Maiden, it's nice to meet you! Call me Neko or Mark. I've only joined up recently, but Mene is already my new home. I've made myself nice and comfortable so I ain't going anywhere anytime soon =w= I've been Tachi-sama's rp partner for only a few days too! but it feels like I've known him for years :D
Anyway, back on topic, what are we gonna discuss now? Like plots and stuffs?

Nice to meet you Neko. Call me maiden. It is the nickname I prefer on Mene. Though others are circulating *grumbles* but it can't be helped. Been roleplaying with Tachi for awhile... not sure, maybe a year? Anyways, plotlines would be good. This is a new set of characters for me. Not used to... death and dead rising and such...

Ugh, I'm back! Had to be snatched up and go outside for a few. I want another character suddenly! I'll make him up right here!

Name: Jack
Age (when he died): 16 years (maximum age of awakening children it seems)
Race: Werewolf
Description: A slightly furry face and dark skin, orange-brown eyes and light brown hair that's crazy, sticking up all over the place. He wears simple clothes because he was a street-kid since his parents died. Dog-like ears and tail, and his hands and feet are furry and paw-like.
Bio: Jack woke last, pulling himself from his little corner grave. He's friendly, and always has been. He stole from the butcher shop for other, younger kids, and acted as a protector when necessary. Nowadays he's a playful type, acts like a young dog, and has animalistic quirks that will make him enjoy being petted. He also has a brighter sense of smell and hearing. Now he tends to prowl the graveyard, watching for threats or curious humans.

LOL, it's ok. Sounds nice. I think I will stick with one character for now. I get way too confused otherwise. So the first plot, are we gonna start maybe when they awaken for the first time? It would be good to explore their emotions and all that stuff (I can't remember what word I was going to use here).

Explore their personalities and all that? Maybe so, maybe so. Or perhaps it's an evening a few years after they wake, where the town is abandoned and, over time, we reveal what leads up to their awakening. Maybe it's a witch's curse!

Hmm yeah something like that. We should start discussing the well, start of the rp :P Then add on with some plot points we'd like to happen. Like I'd love some lost tourists to discover the town or something at one point. Another thing I'd like to add about Sabri is that, he knows he can turn into a bat, but he doesn't because of his allergies. If he has to turn into one, he'll just sneeze as he's flying XD

I'd like that too! Or teenagers that dare each other to go into the town because they hear it's haunted.

Those are some pretty cool ideas. Maybe the witch was an outcast of the town and right before she died, she got her revenge. Only a select few who knew her well enough knew that she was responsible.

Ahh... Perhaps her curse would go into effect once she was dead and buried, so she could affect the town even in her death? Some believe this curse is her doing, but don't know what to, so they picked up and left.

I like that reindition better. However if our minions are to figure out what happened to them, someone needs to have definite knowledge that is was her... just a problem for our creations that that person packed up and left.

That's true. But we ought to leave it in the dark for a while. They're living their non-life for a long time, not really bothering with the town nearby, scaring the humans that come by and such. Existing as a little family basically. That's what I'm seeing anyway, but I'm just one.

I like that idea... and my character is the annoying older sister with banishing abilities... mwuahahaha

Although it's an annoyance that she can't banish the other characters because they're aren't necessarily 'demons', therefore aren't as open to her power?

I'd think Jack were a father-like kid, the oldest, but a bit off his rocker, so to put it nicely. Not as crazy as Benny seems to be, but somewhere along those lines...

Maybe... some extra characters we have laying around get banished, half banished (ouch) or just lots of pain ^_^

I'd like NPC characters like that. And little humans. *evil laugh* So bad...
