Not the best still, as the sunlight once again is giving me a headache, but I nearly have Golden Conch done and I am about to work on the opening post for this with Kina. How are you today, Pap-chan?

I might have found a different place to work for this summer. It's a sweet little café type place on main street that's only been open for a year. The atmosphere is so amazing, I just love the place. Every time I go, I don't want to leave. Oh, and I got some more books to read, and am halfway through the one I'm reading for school.
Overall I'm doing good. This is pretty early for you to be online, it's a nice surprise. Though, with that headache, shouldn't you be resting? |
*smiles* I love little cafes like that, they are always so inviting. I hope you get the job, it sounds like a good place for you.
Ky is napping at the moment (she stayed up until I got home last night) so I am taking the opportunity to get some work on role plays done. |
It specializes in teas, and there's little biscuits, and other little treats, to pair with the drinks. And then there's the leaf teas that the place sells as well, and the decor, it's pretty nice. There's tea pots and such from a whole bunch of different cultures all artfully put on shelves, along with other things used to serve teas, glass jars filled with little treats, dark chairs and glass, with some red for some punch. *smiles a bit* I hope I get the job too, but the owner isn't even sure if she's hiring yet.
Is that a usual thing, her staying up to wait for you? Speaking of roleplays, Sword Grace actually seems to be cooperating for once. |

Not really, as we try to keep her bedtime around midnight, but if Kina and Mimi are both asleep she will get out of bed and wait. *smiles* It is kind of cute, though frustrating. And, I saw. The twins seem to be getting better as well, though I am going to wait for at least Mimi before I post again. |
It is wonderful, I plan on going again next weekend, by then I'll have finished more books and will need to drop them off at the library. Actually, I found one about Harry Houdini. He actually came to Canada at one point before he was famous ... I was quite surprised to find that out.

She is quite stressed and her emotional health has been taking a turn for the worse lately. Hopefully things will start to look up soon though. *smiles* Did you expect any less, Kina? Oh, we just have to work out the introduction post for the RP itself. |
I'd send some over if I could. Yeah he did, he left home at ... eleven and worked a bit before meeting up with his family again in New York, while he was working at a factory he met someone else interested in magicians and ended up starting a show with him, but later on got one of his brothers, Theodore aka Dash, to help out instead. I haven't really gotten all that far into the book, but that's what I know so far. He was Hungarian, which is news to me, lol.

Arigatou, but... there are many times I do not feel as though it is enough. And, I am sorry but probably not. On top of roleplays, I have a couple of things for work I still have to finish. I am temporarily taking over for one of the managers and I have to say, I never realized how much paperwork there was for managing a bar. *shakes head a bit* I don't think I would ever want to be a manager full time.
Kina, if you think it would help, we can. Or we could discuss it here- perhaps Pap-chan will have some ideas to help, ne? She is in the living room and I in the bed room. As to why we do not just use paper... I have no idea. She wants to just type it, I suppose. |

Hai... and you are correct, I do not work tomorrow, and I should have plenty of time to chat. I ended up with the task because I was deemed most trustworthy, I suppose. I have been a bartender longer than most of the others as well, so I know more about how things work. *smiles* it is a bit odd, isn't it? I am just one of those people who is happy to support those in charge and take on appointed tasks both large and small, but not comfortable being the one on the throne.
Thank you. *hugs* We only have a basic outline of how the exchange is supposed to happen, but we need to actually flesh it out into a story. Ronnie is the descendent of an Amethyst dragon, and that dragon is still in the area his bloodline resides, sleeping before the earth woke him. Ronnie is hiking when her pendant faintly glows and she feels she needs to go off the paths in the forest. She literally stumbles on the cave where the dragon lay, his body turned to crystal. The dragon tells her she must find others like her and... that is about it. We need to figure out what the dragon says and how Ronnie is able to find the other characters. I was thinking for ease of playing we will actually start with at least most of the characters already told and on her side, but that is more up to the players than anything. |
We did have the idea at one point of the dragon doing a sort of astral projection that only Ronnie could see and hear, and that be how they picked out who to talk to...

Ah yes, I had forgotten about that. As though he was a specter following her around. If that is what we do, we have to decide if Ren can see, hear or sense it.
