Do you know how long that'll be? *makes a sad face*
We are about two hours from the station last I knew, then I have to go through customs and get to my hotel so... about three or four hours.
Aw... *hugs kage*
Yeah, when I've just gotten up, I tend to go for something easy to put on. |
Nooooo *flops down and pouts* My internet stopped working, I didn't get to say bye ... T.T
Aw... *hugs* But it's back, right?
Yeah .. but what happens if there isn't any internet over there because of a storm or something?
Then... uh... send a PM?
lol I must seem pretty silly,
Not really. I've been sillier, at any rate.
Oh, so you're silly too? So it's more then just a lack of fashion sense ..
Well, of course!
I have to go deal with dinner, but I'll be back after we eat, okay? *hug* |
Alright, talk to you then!
*bounces back into thread with ice cream and brownies* Hi!
For real ice cream and brownies? Can I have some? I wish I had some ... lol
*hands bowl and spoon over* Sure you can have some! *wink* And, yeah, for reals.
Well I know what I'm getting next time I buy the groceries ... *starts eating yummy sugary stuff*
Yummy things? That should be in every grocery run, or at least the stuff to make them should be stocked up on.
Well the things to make brownies are here, I just don't have ice cream.
Oh! Have you ever made ice cream?
Nope, I have no clue how. Always wondered though ..
You could probably find a recipe online, but the process involves keeping the cream agitated while freezing it. That's how it turns out creamy instead of a cube.
---------- Post added 02-06-2013 at 07:57 PM ---------- Ack, gotta go, sorry! Sam stopped by, and I didn't know he was coming! |
Hmm but how do you stir it and freeze it at the same time?
Oh, well say hi for me, won't you? I may not have had the chance to speak to him and all, but yeah .. |
I am finally all safe and warm in my hotel and... everyone is gone. *sighs*
Nope! I'm back! *glomps Kage*
Pap, they make special buckets and such that have a crank and paddles inside a pre-frozen bucket/bowl. My parents had one, and it works alright. Another way to do it is a baggie inside a larger bag that has ice and salt. |
Good!*catches and hugs tight* What did Sam want? Oh, and I know how to build an old-fashioned sorbet maker, Kina, but a quick method is to put the mixture in a bag or small container, then put that in a coffee tin filled with ice and salt and roll it around on the floor. I used to do that with Ky and her brother, they loved it. Mmm... this reminds me, I have to make my sea-salt ice cream again this summer.
