Lol well for books it's definitely the place to go, that's their bread and butter and what they started with though now they sell a few other things. Amazon.com is supposedly good too but I've heard mixed reports about buying used items with them, while with barnes and nobles is pretty good I know through experience. Walmart.com or Target.com tends to be good for video games, often having ten dollar games and good clearances. Khols use to be good for clothes clearance wise but lately not so much, been kinda bland. Still good just not as good as they use to be. Those last three may be mainly American stores though so I dunno. Still most online places that will ship to the USA will ship to Canada for the same price.

And I'm rambling, I'll stop. Honestly I'm a little nervous >.< I'm about to send in my paperwork for my court hearing for SSI (Social security insurance, basically government aid for those who are disabled/can't work for whatever reason.) So a judge on april 14 will decide if I'm really agoraphobic and can't work XD. If he/she refuses it that's it. No more appeals, done. After that I'll have to wait a certain length of time (one year i think) before I can apply again (which takes a couple years to even get the final refusal/to the judge.) So Yeah, all I can do is hope the Judge understands mental psychosis better then any of the other SSI people. And when I'm nervous I ramble a bit.

Me too.... Because I really need it for the medicare to be honest. I haven't been able to even keep an eye on the fibriods(fibristic tumors, generally harmless but sometimes they grow and have to be removed.....) in my uterus because of money issues. >.< which is kinda a bad thing lol. That and I'd like to be able to contribute money to grams and the house hold. So yeah, it's really important I get approved but there's literally nothing more i can do to try and make that happen. I've done everything right and now all I can do is trust the judge. Little nerve wracking to have someone else be literally deciding everything for you.

I'm sure things will be fine. Didn't you say you did everything right? And I'm sorrry, I'm getting of now, need to get some sleep.

I messed up the stitching and the rope knotted, so I had to cut it off so I can start all over again. Darn that binding is sturdy! Even half done and messed up, it held the pages together until I cut the rope off.

Wow O.O . Well if I want to make a home made book now I know which way to go XD.

I plan on trying my hand at the coptic stitch later, and the long stitch too. It just gives the books a completely different look, and these other two techniques are more like sewing ... but I really like the japanese stab stitch, it looks so ... elegant.
