Anybody have a character in mind?

I sort of have one. My character is a hacker that had recruited by SHIELD for what was supposed to be for a short time but had eventually joined them. She's still a work in progress though.

OOohhoohohohhh love hackers! I like it.

I can't decide whether to do a lady or a dude. But I'm thinking probably there are uncontrollable rage issues.

Maybe cyclones?

I like cyclones ! Maybe it's because of the rage issues the cyclones form? Just throwing ideas out there.

Maybe I should wait to see what Shiverpass says? I don't really want an all-lady cast (although the *Avengers* could have used more ladies, in my opinion).

I say dude but we should wait for Shiverpass first. I agree. The Wasp was supposed to be in the movie but I guess the writer couldn't figure out a good way to introduce her. She sounds like an awesome character according to the Marvel comic wiki. Hopefully she'll be in the next Avengers movie.

So do some of the other Avengers. I'm actually looking forward to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, since it probably will focus on Thanos. He sounds like one creepy dude.

Yeah, and creepy dudes make the best villains. :-)

I do. An OFC I've had for a while actually (been RPing with her over Tumblr lately just a newer version of her) Her name's Amara Cabery. She's a leukemia fighter with a brother who was once her best friend and is now a stranger. Her parents died in a mysterious car crash, leaving her and her brother millions of money. She used to travel the world with that money until she figured out her true talent: After tracking down who had killed her parents, who soon after targeted her and her brother for that said money, she has become known as a good natural tracker. Her mind works differently than others. Currently resides as a Psychologist high school teacher while waiting for true love and enjoying her secret side job for SHIELD.

What do you guys think?

Name: Katherine Wright
Age: 29
Bio: Katherine was once an independent hacker, mostly working at a used bookstore, writing programs and doing security checks for companies. She had been recruited by SHIELD when she had messaged the FBI about strange messages on the internet. Unknown to her, she had uncovered warnings of an alien invasion. Afterwards , Kathy was recruited by SHIELD as a hacker , but works at her old bookshop as a cover.

I'm still working with him, but he's shaping up to be something like this:

Name: Calvin Matchbox
Age: 19
Bio: Calvin has a terrible temper that, when triggered, sometimes whips him into a raging cyclone of destruction (this has happend maybe a handful of times; it hurts like crazy, and he generally can't remember it in the morning). He had a rough home life he doesn't like to talk about and has spent most of his life on the streets. He's just reaching the age where he'd like to be a little more stable than he is, but he's having a rough time breaking out of the cycle of being drunk or high/doing stupid things/waking up with a hangover. Calvin is very intelligent and has street smarts (he's decently good in a brawl), but he's also something of an adrenalin junkie, so he sometimes does colossally stupid things.

He has one friend, an EMT who patches him up from time to time, and he is very loyal to him. Generally, Calvin makes a living with whatever random work he can find, the occasional drug deal or client. He's trying to find or develop some sort of talent in himself that will get him out of his life, but he's got no clue what it could be. He's got no idea that he's a mutant, and he's almost completely self-taught.

Sounds like an interesting character.

Is there anything else we need to do before we start? When should we add the canons, if we have them in the rp ?

Hmm... I think probably they should mostly be to the side if they're there at all; not having them there seems a little weird for an *Avengers* RP, though.

Maybe just keep them to a minimum but use them as we see fit to move the plot along?
