The Avengers won the war as Loki was taken back to Asgard with the tesseract cube and haven't been heard from since. Now the avengers face a bigger challenge at hand rather than aliens. New enemies appear, but, what's worse is...no not the fangirls, not yet...Loki escapes somehow and manages to hide on earth. What will the avengers do when they catch him and who is this new enemy? Find out soon...

Okay as I am making my post, I wondered if maybe I should switch my girl's powers up a bit, I didn't realize how similar in powers we both were. I use electricity which is bright & offensive. Just like yours is light & offensive (as far as able to attack more with it) kind of like an active power.

However I don't know if that would matter or not and I'm not sure how nature would be considered an active ability lol I think I'll just leave it, otherwise all this deep thinking will give me a headache :P

You could give your girl more elemental abilities. Artemis' powers are related to her race, and if it's pitch black with no source of light, she can't do anything. Which is why she usually avoids areas with no light source. Part of what she does is manipulate light particles, she can make them solid enough to do physical damage.

would that be similar to lighting? electricity?

otherwise I could change it to nature, but, I'm not sure how that would work since she has wings (usually invisible)

or...I will use less "Light" terms and keep her powers seem a bit more zappy. That could show they are different.

No, her power isn't like lightning or electricity. It's actually kind of similar to the HYDRA weapons, only it's pure light. It burns and it can disintegrate what it touches (if she builds enough power to do that). She can also alter the light in a single area through her power, make it lighter or darker as she wishes.

I don't see how using a different element will change the fact that she has wings.

I think I was going with the whole "Angelic being" ordeal :P

well it wouldn't reflect it or anything. It would just grow...I could see that...

But I think I'll stay with electricity.

I'm thinking of giving Artemis wings though... I was planning on it at first, before I knew your character was an angel. Her wings would be very different though...

Thats fine, mine wouldn't show up too much, I'm usually not a wing lover unless they are crystal like wings and they're usually very unique. So if you want to, go ahead :3

Yeah, my favorite wing type comes from my favorite game Tales of Symphonia.
For example, Kratos' wings, which I will be using for Artemis. look

and so far all I know is my character was raised on earth (or like she doesn't remember much of how she got there until she was there afterwards) I haven't figured out where to place her yet, I just figured she could either be a mutant or an alien. Mutant crossed my mind.

It would be a little interesting either way. Mutant or alien.
Artemis is an alien... technically speaking.

I haven't decided, I thought about being a mutant. but since mutants are experiments usually, I didn't know how that would conflict with my character's soon to be crush.

Alien would work, but, I would have to figure out at least a name for the planet & species :P

Or I was thinking there was another type of human out there that stayed hidden (like how people say the dinosaurs are under ground, like in Journey to the center of the earth) but it could be like a large village like place with people instead that keep humans or invaders out.

I'm pretty darned sure that wouldn't affect anything. Steve is a pretty decent guy, so he wouldn't be bothered by that, or judge her in any way. Whether she was a mutant or an alien.

oh hey hey, I have an idea that would later add conflict and possibly drama.

Why don't our characters become friends? maybe not like best buddies, but, just friends. That way, both on different sides could cause complications, and then drama between the guys on each side?

Yes, because there are alternate dimensions, supposedly thousands upon thousands, and each dimension is different, thus there is a different version of you or anyone in that other dimension. Thousands if not millions of different versions of yourself.

Yup, I just found it ironically that she is older than most would think and lives on another planet. As mine lives (I think under earth) and is kinda...(my mind is distracted apparently)

and now i can't figure out if she should go & try to tell the avengers or just try and intervene, but, i think I will have her try to go to the avengers.

I would think she should leave to tell them. And most likely arrive when Thor is telling them about Loki escaping. She could even think that Artemis is in danger. xD
