It wouldn't be centered around one person. Mainly it is around the ghosts, the guy is just their connection to the living world.

True but if the plot is to solve their murder before their eaten/taken off it stil seems like it would be focused mainly around the human since he could communicate with the cops best and so on(random tips from possessed people who later don't remember even talking to the cops might not get a lot of credibility ). Unless the ghosts possess cops and stuff I suppose XD. Depend on how things were done I suppose.

Lol that's often what happens when you make one special person like that lol. It all depends on who plays the seer and how they play it I imagine.

It's possible xD. She'd likely have some psychic abilities of her own but they would be mostly offensive XD. He'd be the sensor person and she'd be like '*gibbs head slap(ncis xD You can probably find a clip on youtube of it* okay these are the questions i want you to ask.' XD. I dunno though, that might be more a one on one idea then the group you seem to have in mind

What if we combine the two ideas? Make them partners running their own supernatural/death P.I buisiness or their the "unexplainable" branch for the local detectives lol. That way their would be two mediums, plus the ghosts. Plus the evil spirit/reaper and the bad guys. Plus the friends..not centered around anyone really.

That ould be cool. Reminds me of the anime 'ghost hunt'. That would be awesome. XD.

Hmm right now i'm leaning towards a detective who was in an illegal, black ops type program for psychic kids >.>' But when she was young it was taken down by some good cops investigating the kids that were kidnapped XD. And that's what made her want to become a detective and help people XD. Her main focus power wise would be telekinesis/levitation and then a spirit bomb/blast thing that only works on psychics or supernatural spirits/creatures but not on normal people or those without any spiritual abilities.

Taht could work xD. She is a cop, cop, but is friends with the force and likely has certain political connections (done jobs for important people finding missing people/cleaning houses of psiritual taint/etc) so could swing it. So if you want to go with that that works xD.

No, that's fine. I figured she'd be less 'official' as far as the public is concerned and mroe an 'unofficial' member of the force that everyone knows about/goes to but isn't exactly acknowledged for public relation reasons but either way works. I can accommodate either.
