sleep is very important. More important than anything else. I'd sleep all the time if I could.

yeah. I've been getting well acquainted with my insomnia the past week, so I needed the sleep.

....haha. Well....maybe. No one has commissioned me though even though I've had it set up since the summer started. Not very encouraging. I think I have more hope publishing some writing.

There are so many other things a qualified artist can do... Like concept paintings for the council... Sketches for the police...

that's true. I somehow don't think being a sketch artist for the police pays bills though. O.o People always tell me to apply my creative skills to being a typical business woman working in cubicle because those sorts of companies always want artistic minded people.

There's also becoming a gallery owner, or trying to get your work into them.

You could also get your work into local gift shops, you'd have to pay a fee of course, but if it's a touristic location you'd get some exposure at least

But that would be more part-time, she'd still need a job-job XD

Creating artwork is a job

I stopped wanting to become a professional artist because of being taught to chase after the art gallery and fairs tract. I've never once did art with the interest in sharing it with others (except for on Deviant Art). Although I have an exhibition type of thing on campus with some class mates. >.< I haven't finished the work for it yet.

I'm just going to go work at Target and try to publish and do commissions and hopefully not starve to death! XD

There's more then just art galleries or doing things for the mass market. You could try becoming a comic book artist too. Combining the two things you like?

ah....I wish. But it's really not the time to try to garner new talents. I have less than 2 months until I graduate!
