Well, yes. We need hitmen! Even if there's only one main character hitman type. Maybe we should make a type of list for our main characters and those that should be temporary or at least recurring-but-not-main characters. *stares* NEKO! Neko made it! *glomps* |
I might only have one character, and I have this wonderful idea, but I wanted to ask you, Kat, if it is OK... I mean, I wouldn't want to ruin your idea...
I had an idea of a shapeshifting cat, I mean I could always change him to a tanuki, though in Japanese myth Tanuki, neko and Kitsune could all shapeshift. He'd be quite an... interesting character... He might work for one of the gangs as a spy, or I could make him come from somewhere else, though he doesn't talk about his past. I mean, I understand if you don't want supernatural stuff or a shapeshifter... I just... Really wanted to play one *Q* |

A list sounds good. I already have two characters in mind. I don't mind the supernatural elements, Neko. I need something to set this rp apart from my original novel idea because I don't want to end up stealing the rp in the end. ^^' What are Tanuki? I don't even know the myths well. |

should be some kind of adviser/leutinent (I have no idea how to spell this word and spell check things I'm typing valentine) for each gang? Maybe a cleaner? To clean up the messes the hitman and whoever leaves behind. ah really...there's a potential for a lot of characters.

I guess it depends on what each gang leader wants. If he feels he can do fine without, then who are the others to argue? Lieutenant, by the way, is how you spell that.
Hm... Well, he'd have to be affiliated with one or both gangs... Maybe yours, to cross over our characters in that way? I'd think he might be trying to, say, develop a new drug to keep the city's masses in control a little more? Maybe he could be affiliated with Neko's character, who can get the right ingredients? Some sort of nuclear war...? |
Well, Neko, we must have a large list of characters. But they'll be easily kept apart! Perhaps with color coordination? And we haven't even gotten to Pap's characters yet, she'll be listing hers tomorrow~

yes, lieutenant. I always struggle with that word. I'm poor in spelling. True, does depend on the leader. though I think gang structure typically does have a 2nd in command
ah, sounds good. new drugs are always good. so that's a tanuki. I knew it sounded familiar. now I'm the one that can't keep up. As to what caused the post-apocalyse. I think it would work if part of the plot is that they don't know. Say all records were destroyed for some reason and something obstructs them from leaving the city so they don't even know why things are the way it is. |

All records destroyed? Hm, so you think books are nonexistent, or at least very rare? So how is this world? Is foliage rare, too? Maybe the earth is quite scorched? Neko~ With your character's transformation ability, he can easily move around, especially with small packages. |
Perhaps a lot of animals are gone too, so maybe a cat would be pretty rare to see within the city... Which would make his job a bit harder XD

hm...I would say there are some books, but probably their use is a bit negligent since people are more preoccupied in trying to survive a gang filled world with no government to check things. Well...what would be better? A dark city with little plant and animal life or a city that is slowly going back to the wild and trees are starting to grow out of sidewalks and stuff? |
Ooh, rare in the city! Maybe animals in general are rare. Perhaps a big wall around the city to keep 'whatever's out there' out?
Hm... Maybe the earth, right now, is scorched but with the help of freelance scientists, plantlife is slowly beginning to return? Maybe greenhouses dedicated to reviving soil and plants are dotted around the city and when they're strong enough, plants are returned to soil to see how well they survive? Like an ongoing experiment? |

hm true. School would be a bit out of place. Books would be better to make a fire. I imagine a lot of the things that we take for granted or use in our time would find an new use in this world due to circumstances.
