The first RP we ever made together. For our first RP, we wanted to do something fun and different. Why not have an RP about zombies meeting each other, and finding love? It got boring rather quickly, and in rather than leaving the RP hanging, we decided to kill our characters...

New year, new RP! We had been looking into some of the reasons RP's seem to end prematurely, and we both agreed that the planning stage of RP's have turned out to be fun, but not so much the execution among some of the RP's we had been in. So what if we started an RP without any planning? Our random adventure RP was born! We had one rule: Don't talk about the RP. Our characters agreed to go on a quest to find a pack, and had to outsmart some goblins in order to get it back. We grew a little bored, so we haven't gone further with the story since that quest was completed.

After making our medieval random adventure, we wanted something a little more planned. Finally, we came up with the idea of a story between a princess and her knight. Hopefully this RP goes the extra mile compared to our old RP's.

Every race was living peacefully in Hyrule after the fall of Ganon. Once day, a tornado came, and ripped a few of it's inhabitants out of their homes and brought them to an island somewhere far across the ocean. What was the reason our characters were forced to this island? What fate is in store for our heroes? Will they ever make it back to the land of Hyrule?

Ok so here is my idea.
Title: Dead Love
Story: Two zombies, basically wondering around some location. Exploring the world and trying to figure out this new disease / zombism problem they have. Then after lets say 10 days to two weeks. They finally meet. Then they start to have feelings for each other.
After that point we will have to reevaluate where we want to take the story from there.
Let me know your thoughts! I think it will be pretty fun and we can really take the story in any direction. I am going for more of the humor angle with this RP. Not a very serious story line.

Woah Spoiler Alert.
Banner looks pretty dope. I have blonde hair IRL as well, so that works out.
Sounds good on going to get everything started. Just a generic zombie apocalypse story will go for the introduction. Gloomy times, etc, etc.
Then I will start my character off. I guess we can just go day by day. I guess we will have to define the pace we want to take this. How much detail we want to put into each day before they meet each other. It doesn't have to take 10+ days. Just kind of what I was originally thinking. That way we have enough time to define our characters personalities and hopefully everyone will grow to care for them.
Good luck writing the intro post. PM me if you need any ideas or anything. I guess you could also post in this thread... That is what it is for isn't it.... lol

That actually isn't a terrible idea!
Basically what my thinking is after writing the first post. I am going to show how bad it is to be a zombie. Try and be funny as I do it, then he learns that he actually is a smarter zombie. The maybe he finds a friend, and then finds your character!
Then the real story begins, we could have some big traumatic incident. Where we see someone kill a bunch of zombies and then drive off. Then maybe even farther in the story we get separated and I have to rescue you.
Lets take anther look after your first post. I am curious to see your writing style and how you think about the zombie world.
A heroic zombie? And a zombie in distress? What a concept :P
So what do you think so far? Of my writing style I mean.
I'm not gonna lie, for some reason I can't put in comedy into Zombie-ism at this point in time xD
I like it. I like your detail. You give good detail of all the things your character sees and things she does. I feel like mine kind of lacks detail, but I will try and work on that. Any suggestions on my typing? Spelling and grammar are not my strong points that is for sure. CS major for ya....
I started off. I guess, kind of funny, but the more recent post have been getting pretty serious. That is ok though. Everything doesn't have to fall perfectly like we planned it. The story seems to be developing at a good pace so far. Doesn't seem to be rushing or forcing anything. Maybe we can do some funny things once our characters meet. Then we can do silly date-y stuff.
I try to be funny, but not funny to compromise the story. I would rather the story to be interesting than to have some funny moments.
I guess a few more posts and then we can meet up?

You could call it Stitches, or Nibbles.
Both names are awesome! Now I am going to have a hard time picking a name!!
Your character can find my character if she wants. Or maybe we can have the dog join us together. He runs off and I try and go find them. Then he is barking at you while you are eating on some people. Then I am all like, woah eating people is bad. Gotta control yourself.
Then bam! Dating! Just like that!
Do you think we should tell two sides of the story? Like I say I meet some zombie girl, then you meet some zombie boy. Then we start telling the story together? Or should it just be like I meet you and then you continue from the point I left off?
The story will move a lot slower once our characters meet. Well, not a lot slower, but since the aim is not to retell too much of the story when your part starts. You can look at my Shadowhunters RP to understand the typical pace I use. I specifically linked to post # 26, and all you have to read is until #28 and you should have a good idea. Our posts are probably gonna be shorter, so that there's enough of a chance for interactions. So that means we'll be able to reply faster at least ^_^
I must warn you, it's okay to say my character "follows yours" or whatever. Small actions that are typical or extremely likely to happen are okay with me for you to write into your post if we're going somewhere or something is happening.
I'd rather your character find mine. My zombie character is a little of a normal zombie, I have thoughts, but I'm like a baby zombie in adult looking form :P
How come you used different colors when typing in that RP. Well only in some posts, other ones were just all black.
Also, I named him Nibbles. Seemed to fit the best!
I guess in my next post I will try and find your character, or at least try and get close. Try and end your character is a landmark kind of place. That way it is easier to find! Well I guess not find, but tell the story.
Well your zombie can't be that normal! My zombie will want someone to talk to! Maybe I can teach you how to talk or something. My zombie is like super smart and taught himself how to talk!
Should we later explain why we are smart zombies? Or is it since it is our world we can do whatever we want? I was thinking that it was a different strain to the pathogen, that didn't decay my brain as much. All it did was remove most of my old memories. I still know the names of things, but some things will trigger some of my old memories. Then we can learn about the humans and the survival group or something. From me remembering things based on objects or like locations. Just kind of spit balling here. Throwing out ideas on what we can do.
I used different colors because I had side characters in those posts. So rather than always putting "Zane said" or "Star said" I also used colors to make it more obvious who was talking, so there would be no confusion.

I'll make sure to put mine near a landmark. I'm not gonna lie, the post won't be tonight, I'm am quite tired.

So where do we want to head now? I guess go walk around the theme park and have some fun. Then maybe when we are riding the Ferris wheel. Maybe some sort of tall structure at this theme park we see a mass horde of zombies headed in our direction.
Maybe we can join there group and see if there are any other intellectual zombies in the group. Then after we follow them for a ways people start attacking the group... or maybe the zombies start attacking some people. We try and stop them or just try and escape with our dead lives.

I don't know. I'd be cool with your character trying to teach my character how to talk. Not sure about the whole stopping zombies from eating people thing yet, my zombie doesn't even know whats going on right now! It's like she high, and depressed, all the time! xD
Your poor zombie! Ok I will try to teach your zombie some stuff! My zombie is an honor roll after all!
P.S: I have been controlling your character a little bit, I hope you don't have a problem with that. Sorry I didn't send you a message or anything. I just loved the idea and ran with it!
It's all good, I don't mind you controlling my character when it's obvious things that she would do. Just as long as you don't have my character start stripping randomly then I won't mind
Jeff is a very persuasive zombie. One thing might lead to another, then bam, zombie child. Jeff really isn't in a good position in his life for a child. So I will make sure to leave all of your characters clothes on.
Your zombie is very stubborn! Makes the RP last longer! So that is a good thing! I was just plowing through topics. Learned to talk, got a dog, zoom zoom zoom.
No I haven't forgotten. I just don't know how I want to proceed! I was thinking about taking the characters, but that really doesn't fit our characters! unless we let the "creature" take over.
