I do remember that, Amory's just rather confused right now. He's doubting a lot of stuff, he doesn't actually know for sure if Sam know more than he does.

and Sam is fighting with himself to tell Amory what really happend and who he really is. this is cutting him up inside not telling him. but he also fears that if he dose tell him then he will lose him.
