*follows* Wait! You said you'd bite me!
...I think I'd rather not though.
But why!?
Because you want me to!
*pokes* Hey, we were going to do the RP while controlling both characters, right? Am just wondering if we were still going to do that, so the story would flow much easier... Hm unless...
Hm...if you really want to...
Well, I had kind of an interesting idea... Never did it before, though, so I'm not sure what you'd think about it...
What sort of idea?
Well, there are a few books I've read that employ this idea and I think it's really interesting. Each chapter is told in first person from the character's point of view. And the chapter begins with their name so you know who's narrating. We could do that, and that way we wouldn't have to assume any personal opinions or ideas from the other person's character. While we're writing each reply we can go back and edit our existing posts to match the later ones.
...I don't follow....
Wha? Well, basically, our posts would be through the actual eyes of our character. Like their narrative. And each of our posts would be like a chapter, starting with the character's name so you know who's talking. Like a short narrative from Amicus, then one from Salis, then so on. But this way we could also control the other person's character, but we wouldn't have to guess at what they're thinking, or their personal opinions, and so on.
Ah I follow now. Sounds like would be very long posts?
Well, longer than what we'd have right now. We'd be able to control each other's characters this way while injecting some environmental observations from our characters, and give more detailed explanations of the other character and what ours thinks of them from the get-go.
I see. I'm not totally opposed. Would be first person then?
