Pandora's Box:
Hey sorry I've not replied in a couple of days XD I got really busy because I had a few guests over.
Basically I'll give you a brief summary of the world and you can find out more about the characters while in character :3
The 'real world' and Wonderland exist in two separate dimensions as far as anyone knows. The only being known to be able to travel through the two worlds is the White Rabbit, who is the one who finds an 'Alice' and brings them back to Wonderland. Only with the White Rabbit can they travel there as they need their magic to travel between worlds.
An 'Alice' is simply chosen if they have all or some of the following traits; blue eyes, blonde hair, aged between 10-25, and a name that sounds like Alice (such as Ellis, Alicia, Alex, Eloise, Elise, Ali, etc). Such a person is called an 'Alice' thanks to the first recorded girl who came to Wonderland, which is the original Alice from the stories.
Wonderland is made up of sprawling forests which lie between various towns, cities, and villages. There's barely any pathways and you have to know the layout of Wonderland quite well or you'll get lost, as many do.
There are two kinds of citizens; role holders, and the faceless. The faceless do have personalities and faces and are their own person, but they have no link to Wonderland's magic as the role-holders do. It is said that if each of the roles isn't filled then Wonderland will fall into the chaos as they are linked to the magical balance of the world.
The role-holders include the royal families of Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, and Clubs, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Duchess, the Tweedle Twins, the Clockmaker, and the Cheshire Cat. (I'll admit, I got the Clockmaker from Alice in the Country of Hearts XD) The Jaberwocky is said to hold a role but no one has seen him in a very long time.
Anything else you'd like to know? :3
