For those that wanted some information on current events, here's a bit of a catch-up.

As of Dirge of Cerberus, the Shinra Electric Power Company has been dissolved entirely, replaced by a new organization known as the WRO, or World Regenesis Organization. Formed by Reeve Tuesti and funded by Rufus Shinra, it was created with the former President's vow in mind- to rebuild the world that was devasated by Meteor and Jenova, and weakened by his former company's own foolish mistakes.

To this end, they have formed and organized a paramilitary force that is almost equal to the former Shinra Military, though it does not have a Special Operations Division like SOLDIER. Comprised entirely of volunteers, it is the basis of Gaia's defense.

Cid Highwind, who is now a pilot of legendary status, signed up for the WRO as head of the airship fleet. The flagship of this fleet of course, is the Shera, named after his beloved wife.

The Turks, ever loyal to Rufus, act as his personal bodyguard and carry out orders in his place. They were not seen in Dirge of Cerberus, but had a vital role to play in other parts of the Compilation.

Yuffie Kisaragi, mostly forced into joining the WRO by Cid, performs the former job of the Turks on her lonesome- she is their eyes and ears, a spy and reconnaissance specialist. Before the events of Advent Children, she was a wushu teacher in Wutai.

After the defeat of Deepground, another result of Hojo's twisted experiments, and the halt of Omega Weapon's programming, the WRO continued their research on ways to return Gaia back to its original state, with the aid of Barret Wallace, who searches for alternate means of fuel besids the vital Spirit Energy that runs through the planet.

But now... the return of Sephiroth... the advent of Aerith Gainsborough... and the awakening of Genesis from his self-induced stasis.

What will the world face this time?

I spent part of my time at work today plotting out my intro. I'll post it up in a bit.

I did a really fast sig/banner, but I'm not really happy with it. I kept editing the text to say different stuff.

Just made mine aswell, haha, I figured Id go with the Rude still liking Tifa thing that you lot were hinting at oh so subtley lol, and when ya think about it, in AC Reno says to Cloud 'you were heavy!' meaning Rude carried Tifa, haha, talk about a hint :P

Anyway, no probs :) I found that bit tough too! Its been a while since I played but I dont think theres many battles on the ship, good luck tho, that games so good to say how old it is. :)

Jessie, ex-Avalanche member.

Short, petite young woman with honey brown hair tossed back into a looped ponytail. In general, prefers to wear slouchy khaki cargo pants with lots of places to carry things, a scavenged blue Soldier shirt and boots. Overall impression is hand-me-down scruffy attire.

Overall outlook is as optimistic as possible, but prone to dark moody spells when the past is brought up. Quietly cheerful, she does what needs doing without complaint. Enjoys mild pranks, and cannot go very long without being in front of her computer.

However, she is still upset about her near-death experience and incarceration at the hands of Shin-Ra. Right knee and shoulder were replaced with metal joints at Shin-Ra's expense.... months after the wounds had healed badly in the pit of a prison she'd been thrown into. The joint areas still pain her at odd moments, and she naturally bears a grudge, not accepting the implied apology of her replaced body parts.

For the past couple of years, Jessie has tried to live a fairly normal life. Despite her anti Shin-Ra tendencies, she joined up with Reeve's W.R.O. movement, and had the honor of being one of the survivors of the attack on WRO HQ a while back.

Currently, she resides in Edge, and is bored and single. Bad combination.

(ok, that has to be the worst character intro I've done in a while - sorry)

Made another post, this rps a little slower than what im used to, so hopefully my post can help us continue abit.

Sorry for controlling Elena somewhat, but i figured the post makes sense and gets Elena and Jessie some interaction.

I'm going to wait a bit to give everybody a chance to add to the story before I respond. A little bit being two more days max.... XD

I'm also going to revamp the sig thing so I can advertise. It'd be nice to have more of the main characters to play with.

Anyone has any customized RP sig requests, shoot me a line and I'll whip one up.
(I edit images, can't draw to save my life - just so you know...)

I have the ShinRa badge template, and I can make an ID card for 'ya. :wink:

I've got the rest of the Turks and Rufus done except for the 'member number' for their respective players. I'm not real sure how to number the earlier people. Don't want to arbitrarily assign 1st member and so forth and make anyone mad...

I'm thinking of using the standard 'meteor' on an absolutely made up Edge citizens pass for say Tifa and Marlene. I can fake a Wutai card for Yuffie, and I'm thinking Cid is now technically a WRO pilot, so that'll be easy.

I'm having fun with these, if you can't tell...

PERSONALITY: Outwardly solemn, due to the loss of her family and close/only friends. However, once her trust has been gained she opens up, her demeanor changing considerably. She becomes cheerful, loving and motherly, sometimes childish as well.

HISTORY: Younger sister of Sephiroth. She used to be his complete opposite, being happy and bouncy and energetic at all times. However, after losing Genesis, Zack, Angeal and her brother, she closed herself off. She doesn't yet know that they're alive ( if they are in this RP that is xDD ) but misses them terribly.
She sometimes hears them speaking to her from the Life-Stream ( Y'know, how Aeris and Zack speak to Cloud sometimes? Like that ^^ ).
OTHER: She was in love with Angeal.
