I think that since Aki and Waikar are free now, that they should show up before our little group ends up actually attacking the Yuan-ti camp.
Then the elves get angry because they discover the one friend they were to rescue, Waikar, is a wolfman, and go back to the elven city. Now, Lumerielle's people are mad at her because she didn't tell them he was a wolfman, though she had good reason not to. They don't know that Waikar is trustworthy. The friends can't count on anymore help from the elves though because of this. |

That is what I was thinking. We'll still need the elves to SQUASH the Yuan-ti, 'Cause they have something of Waikar's, Which he definately wants back. Ok, well if the elves are going to go through their waves of attacks on the encampment, then Rayne, Lumerielle, Drake, and anyone else who's joined our party by then could meet up with Aki and Waikar and their captured soldier in the encampment, since they are coming to rescue Aki and Waikar. Don't forget, Drake has a captured Yuan-ti soldier off somewhere too, we probably left him with the elves in their city, lol.
Drake and his friend's dragon spirit and the elf attack will keep the Yuan-ti distracted. The only one who might not be fooled by the distractions is the Yuan-ti witch, but maybe she realizes the Yuan-ti camp is overpowered now and she runs off or something, abandoning her own soldiers? I don't know, everything happens so fast that maybe even she is distracted? What do you guys think? Lumerielle might enjoy picking off a few Yuan-ti soldiers with her bow before they take off. Once the group meets up with Aki and Waikar, they will do whatever Waikar asks of them, since he knows the Yuan-ti better than any of them and has something he needs to retrieve from them anyways. The elves won't take off until after the battle is over, though at some point they will realize one of Lume's friend's is a wolfman, and they will leave immediately after the battle, angry because Lume failed to warn them about Waikar. It will be some time later before they are aware that Waikar can be trusted, a long while later. They still take Lume's warning about the Yuan-ti to heart, though, and prepare for war, they just don't know if they can trust Lume and her friends anymore. The only reason they take her warning to heart is because of the presence of Yuan-ti soldiers on their lands, when the Yuan-ti have been known to be a peaceful people, therefore, it stands to reason that Lume was telling the truth about this new power they hold, even if Lume herself can't be trusted. |
Alright, we'll just run into a little 'trouble' on the way out,
Trouble that'll involve the witch, And, some how forcing the woman back, So that she is still alive, And, with few soldiers. Though, I am assuming there are lot more soldiers than the ones she travels with, Because the Yuan-ti have been gaining in numbers, Thus making them large, powerful, And, a threat to the elves. I'm all for some Yuan-ti violence.>>;; We'll finally get away from them, Get what Waikar is looking for, And, then be on their way. Poor, poor, Waikar, Never one to be believed. Good thing he's [email protected]@;; IF we want, We can somehow incorporate Waikar's brethren, As they will be extremely willing to fight, Despite elven pressence. Plus, it will be fun to rp some hostilities between the two races.>;] |

Hehe, actually I was referring to Waikar's wolf clan when I said have at it, but that's ok, you can have at it too, Mia, lol.
Sorry for stealing the first kill, Hatch, but you know, arrows do have a nice long range, and are quite deadly if you hit the right spot, hehe. And actually, Drake's dragon probably had the first kill, breathing that fire out the way he did. He probably incinerated several Yuan-ti. I sent a pm to Demure and directed her to the OOC thread here, so hopefully she'll visit here soon. Demure, your character could be part of the wave of elves attacking the Yuan-ti camp, and you could meet up with the friends and decide you believe their story and that Waikar is to be trusted, and join us on our own journey, instead of retreating to the elf village when the battle is over, if you would like. Since your character is an elf, it would fit into the story just fine like that. |
