The Gods are constantly at war with each other, and always have been. Gaea, the goddess of earth, began to fear for her children. So, she took a drastic measure. She blessed twelve of her human children with their power of their astrological sign with the hopes that when the Gods began to strike out, and attack the Earth that their power comes from, these children of hers would be able to strike back, and perhaps take over these selfish gods, and rule more justly.

But, she forgot to take into account the isolation these teens would feel from their fellow human, and how difficult it is to learn to control that power and raging hormones. With the potential end of the world on hand, it’s fate rests on the shoulders of twelve teens. Gods help us all.

It was late, late enough that any sane person should be sleeping, when every one of these kids had the overwhelming urge to get up and go, they didn’t know where, they didn’t know why, but they were just on their feet and moving until they all found themselves in the same place, at the same time, faced by Gaea, telling them what fate had dealt them.

But, this couldn't stay secret, and the Gaea isn't the only one who can grant humans power to meddle with...

Well, the beauty of tarot is there's a lot of different ways to do it. Personally, I'll be basing it off of how I do it in real life, but, for non-readers basically find an online deck listing sort of thing and just base the readings your character does off of that. I'm very clear, I know, <= sarcasm. So if you want specifics, tell me on what.

As for beast master, I'm not quite sure what you mean, so explain a bit more and we can talk.

Beast Master, basically if you ever saw the TV show Beast Master (it still runs though I don't know if its repeats now or not). Basically Beast Masters are generally very fit and good at surviving in the wild but aren't very smart even in the terms of herbs. Often times they have a few animals that help them out a lot but they can communicate with all animals just with eye contact and can usually get them to listen to them. Even without eye contact they have a good idea what the animal is feeling/thinking.

As for tarot, though I'm not very good I follow Crowley's method. Not the intricate one that uses all the cards but the version that only uses 15. So really I was just curious myself.

Sounds a bit conspicious, how often in a modern setting does a person walk around town with a bunch of beastiess following them? All the normal people would freak out and run away. How would you get it to work? xD

You mean a 15 card spread, or 15 cards in the whole deck? Because my own spread is only six, and as far as I know I made it myself. I've never seen a reading done with every single card, to be honest. But I've only ever met two other tarot readers in the flesh.

And Sin has a point, but if you wanted to work with squirrles and house hold pet kind of things, then we'd be able to make it work if you really have your heart set on it. Maybe we could go with more very in touch with nature, branch it off to plants to a degree and to a lesser degree be able to control animals. It'd give you a bit more flexibility, but still let you play with the animal master, even if it's only over the cat.
