I want to put together some fantastical superher-like group roleplay. Like.. the Teen Titans, or Gerard Way's Umbrella Academy. I'd like the characters to be young, between 13-18, and have unique abilities (No godmodded superman powers, or ripped off powers like spider abilities or the ability to catch fire). I'd also like a small group of "good guys" (something like 3-5 people), and a small group of "villians" (again, 3-5 people). I don't necessarily want them to be "good vs evil", though. Just.. varying greatly in opinion.

As for a plot.. I don't know. Perhaps the villans and good-guys threads will be seperate, and each will start off founding their groups, then meeting. I'm sure I can come up with some metaplot (i.e. it's revealed that a larger power was dictating the villian group or something).

This is all just a mess right now D: I just thought about it, and there wasn't much thought involved. And please excuse the other replies.. this thread was recycled from my previous rp request.

I'd just like to throw this thread back on top, because no matter how many days pass, I'm still looking for that ideal rp.

Honestly, if there were such a thing as an "Ideal RP" everyone would be in it xP don't be too proud to try things you're not use to, might surprise yourself and enjoy it for all you know. Just takes some effort and imagination on your part to find a way to fit in.
And if you cant find an rp that suits your tastes, you may as well start your own or ask for a private rp with some-one.

As another note, I have lots of character 'types' not characters. Because then I can be almost anything I want to be given that I'm inspired enough. My preference is towards demons however because they are the most flexible race I know, stretching from weak to strong and a vast array of species+powers makes them inspirational putty in my hands.

Well I'd go out and look at different rps, but that takes time. I'd have to read through all the storylines and settings until I find something I like, then I'd have to conjure up a whole new character.. which also takes time; I like my characters to be extremely well-rounded. I guess what I'm trying to say is, effort and imagination is something I don't have to spare at the moment.

I have characters, not character types, because character types tend to be flat and lack depth. My characters' looks are part of what define the character. But like your character types, they can be molded to fit nearly any situation (Given it's a modern/fantasy setting, hence the thread).

O-ho ho. Mention Superhero and RP and the same sentence, and I am automatically interested.

... even if I'm not int to teenaged heroics. But still. Better than nothin'.

Well I'd like the characters to be young enough that they haven't developed their powers much, but I'd also like them to be old enough to have valid opinions of the world, people, etc.

Ah. So I'm to assume that the heroes' powers are gained through mutations, then, like the X-men? Or is it through a variety of ways, including the great and wonderful SCIENCE?
