Hate it or Love it → Packie is an amusing guy who has a tendency not to take anything seriously. Hence why he has been able to get this far. He has complete control over his mind, others being basically incapable of slowing his thoughts or depressing him. He has a tendency of wanting to be right and will take every angle of logic to be right. He also keeps a side of himself hidden for the sake of retaining some privacy, an almost anti-Packie it is much more sensitive to the troubles the world gives him, but also perfect for writing music. As of now only his third real girlfriend and his first real boyfriend ever really saw it.
Everyone Has A Story → Packie was born up in Washington in the town of Yelm. Surrounded by people who were too rich or too rural he knew he had to get the hell out of that place as soon as he could. So could his parents. After all an almost ridiculously traditional Irish family couldn't fit in around there. In Washington though there was a place where ANYONE can fit in, Seattle. Growing up in the city kinda altered the whole family, particularly that city, the whole family shifted from the typical Irish family to a typical Seattle creature. His dad was corporate, his mom was a cook, and Packie met the music scene. After grunge died off Packie had finally learned enough about music to want to try the style...an unfortunate event but he got through it as best he could. Now he's in this band, how it came about and even a bit of his history is clarified in the band bio.

Everyone Has A Story → Was forced onto the violin in second grade by parents and found a passion for music, but not the violin. Tried out a friend's electric guitar after school and instantly got hooked. Had to babysit and to odd jobs to get money for music and a guitar since parents were not supportive. Eventually they sent her to a music teacher over a summer and then let the music teacher be her legal guardian, sending money every month. Has been living with teacher for past 6 years.

Oh that guy?! → When on stage I like to wear a blindfold. Don't ask why. My favorite one is thin enough so that i can see through but the audience cant see my eyes.

Hate it or Love it → If Skylar's mouth was actually shut for longer then five minutes anyone would think he was the kind of person who was truly serous about everything and harbored anger deep inside him just by looking at him.
But to those that know him they would say without hesitation how Skylar is truly the opposite of this.
For one thing he's a nerd. No, not that smart kind that people are nice to just to get the answers to some kind of test, but an actual geeky nerd. For one thing If hes not eating as much as he can or playing his guitar, Skylar could 'pwn' you at any video game. Especially World of Warcraft. That's his current favorite game.
However its not only Skylar's geeky side that defines him. He's also got some anger management issues. He gets frustrated, angry and pissed off faster then he can even beat a newb on WoW. And trust me, that's amazing. But dont worry, he is working on it. Maybe even one day he'll be able to stop getting mad altogether right?

Everyone Has A Story → Skylar doesn't share his past with just anyone. In fact if it wasn't for the medical records mysteriously leaking out to the press no one would've known he had at one point sulfured such a bad blow to his head that it almost seemed like he would not use his right arm ever again, let alone play guitar once more. However the story is deeper then that as the reason his head had been so severely injured was because of a car wreck that occurred near the end of his senior year in high school. In it, both of his parents were killed and his sister managed to get out with only a couple of broken ribs. However because of the extensive time he had to spend in the hospital, Skylar was forced to drop out of high school while his sister managed to finish even while paying for the extensive therapy that Skylar had to go through in order to use his arm again. Yet, despite the hardship neither his sister or Skylar appear to be sad creatures as others might have become. Perhaps it was the simple motivation that they both had that made it easier for the two get through it all. Skylar was hugely motivated to just pluck a string again on his father's guitar while all his sister wanted was to lose once again at Super Smash brothers on her brother's Nintendo 64.

The Story Behind the Discography: Ceveo began as the musical failures of Packie O'Leary. Well perhaps not so much failures as much as displacement. After he had a sound that people would not quite accept at the time after the death of Kurt Cobain he was in the shit and returned back to the closet to make his own sound. He ended up reverting to some extremely low tech methods of buying a large number of tapes, taking his double cassette tape player with microphone attachment, recording a master copy of the songs he wrote by himself with just an acoustic guitar and his voice and copied them again and again slowly using the other cassette holder. After being arrested by singing whilst a symphony was playing in the park to try out a symphonic sound for once he met a producer for a local indie label who had also been arrested that night. Packie handed him a demo tape and the man found it quite nice and gave him a deal. For two years he worked with the man but finally had to face a problem he had been ignoring for a long time since he began to write more complicated and band based songs by using massive amounts of overdubbing. He couldn't play any of his songs by himself. Even when he was just singing into the boombox he had parts for other members in his band that he usually offered to those that he grabbed to play with him live, which due to inexperience was the real reason he had never really been picked up. Over time though he had been given suggestions and had played with people impressive enough for him to turn Ceveo from a solo thing to a real band. So now they are under a new label and all together. Just about ready to be the next big show.

Hmm well a genre war is always fun. But bands are working well since I generally figure I want it to play for another musical uprising in Seattle, so just think of something new and exciting, that people will call Alternative until it becomes bigger.

As for whats open for now. EVERYTHING. I won't close up anything until I am ready.

Depending on how many join we will end up having a few separation threads for each band to play with. And every once and a while a single fusion thread for the bands to clash or comrade around in.

What about more of a "battle of the bands" type of RP?

A battle opf the Bands RP would be the general idea. I mean assured the climax must copme. But there are hardships that come top making the band, internal conflict. Drugs? Fame? This is more a dramatic RP than a band RP. Teh band is just the backdroop Other things. And if I just wanted a poetry contest I would go to the writing subsection.

This seems like it could be interesting - I would be interested - I've not done a band rp before - but I think I could handle it.

Heh as long as you can go normally it is all good. For the most part you only need one lyricist per band unless you want to make an attempt. In that, "I want to write songs too!" fashion seen in bands. I don't need tabs either. Just use the imagination.

It won't be too different from normal ones in other words.

Cool - I think I would prefer an instrument - maybe drums 8) but I could go with anything that was needed 9as long as I didn't have to write songs :lol: )

About the best I could do would be a groupie. I could probably pull off an actual band member but I think I'd be a better groupie. I could be like Penny Lane, lmao!
