[The Past]

• Long ago, when the world was not tamed and was wild like a beast locked in a cage. Creatures from everywhere were able to wander free with no rules binding them. They could have gone anywhere in the world, but they all gathered to one place. Back then it had no name, it was just a breeding ground for those creatures, but now it is called Pandemonium.
  
  After a while, small wars would break out between the creatures and this caught the eyes of both Heaven and Hell. Heaven wished to calm the fighting down and bring peace to the creatures that lived there. On the other hand, Hell wished to use these creatures to start a massive attack against heaven and God. As God and Lucifer watched, the demon wars in Pandemonium began to worsen, to the point that any moment it could destroy the surrounding areas and possible all existence.
  
  Not wanting to wait any longer God sent his finest armies to try and stop the fighting. Being an opportunist and seeing an opening, Lucifer sent his minions to the city to help rally up willing demons to fight against God. Pulling together the demons and Lucifer's minions sent a large attack against God's army when they arrived. Surprised by the attack, many of the angels with drew until they could plot out a plan. There were those angels who were dumb and full of themselves and went head on into the opposing side.
  
  Those foolish ones were quickly defeated or were tempted by great power to join the side of evil. Being almost equally matched, the battle lingered on for the longest time. Members of both sides betrayed their comrades and wanted to forget about the fighting. This is where the true blasphemy took place. Angels and Lucifer's minions began to breed together, foolish in their attempts. Those who betrayed God and Lucifer were punished for their actions by torture and then death. Afraid for their children, they hid them with the humans that lived in Pandemonium, hoping that Lucifer or God would ever find out about them.
  
  One by one, the blasphemers were selected and punished for their betrayal. They tried to teach their children the best they could until they were found out. Soon, all but a few were punished. Those forgotten were lucky, but knew that they would be found out soon enough.
  
  Both forces withdrew from the battle field, leaving many abandoned children in the city. Centuries passed, angels and demons still came there, and still bred with the inhabitants of the city. With this angelic or demonic aura around the city once more, it started to attract attention again. The demons or angels who flocked here had to be discrete. The peace would be broken again, and the prince of Hell would come to Earth.
  
  He did not want to become King of Hell like his father, so he thought if he came here, he would not have to become king of a kingdom he did not want. Would he fall for the daughter of one of heavens greatest warriors? Shakespearian 'star-crossed love' occurs once again? Will another great war break out once again? What is bound to happen to this city that attracts both the purest and darkest of light? It is for you to stay and watch as this tragic tale unfolds.

I've tried this roleplay out on Gaia, and it was always doomed to fail.
I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in it?
I am just posting the storyline to see what people will have to say.
If I get enough feedback and a few people want to join, I will open it.

Appearance:
The form of a late teen, clean features and a rather frail seeming body, the Prince’s royal garb is discarded for what looks much like a black leather buccaneer coat, a pair of black slacks feeding into calf-high boots with a belt adorning a demon-skull buckle and a plain white vest.
Zeri’s exposed eye is typically a dark brown colour but in mid and full demon forms it is bright red, usually his right eye remains closed for unexplained reasons. His hair is wild and unusual, a strange, clean metallic look to it, the tips seemingly ‘dyed’ red.
Strapped to his left hip is a double sheath holding two separate katana, one coloured blood red, the other a deep purple. Many strange runes are cut along the blades and a demon skull at the pommel of both blades.

Weapon/s: Living Dual Katana – Joukai and Jigoku
Abilities:
Form Change- The prince can freely switch between Normal form and Mid-Demon form, Full Demon form can be achieved but he doesn’t like turning to it because he loses all control of himself and goes berserk. Unfortunately, if enraged enough he can sometimes be manipulated into accidentally turning to it.
Silver flash- Warp past an opponent and slash at them with one or both swords
Dark flash- Kick an opponent into the air and appear above them to cut them down
Lucifer Slash- Sends a red blade beam toward the target; can cut through some metals, the power, size and range of this attack can be increased at extra mana expenses.
Reaper- Zeri transforms into his ‘mid-demon’ state, connects the hilts of his blades and spins them toward the opponent like a boomerang.
Deaths Hurricane- Zeri stands still and Jigoku and Joukai spin around him at high speed
Hell’s Judgement- Currently being mastered by Zeri
Dark Eraser- ??? [Only accessible ability in full demon form, sends a black ball of energy at a target and ‘implodes’ anything caught in the space of the ball, there’s a few seconds delay before implosion can occur]

Other:
Jigoku and Joukai are twin swords capable of intelligent thought and also capable of flying at speed, typically they would trick a swordsman into taking them up, allow them to experience ‘superior’ swordsmanship through them controlling the swordsman’s movements and after a while they would drain the swordsman of his life force or simply force him to kill himself. The mischievous brothers enjoy taunting people and embarrassing the prince however they can.

Personality:
Zeri is a lonely young man, and, in utter contradiction to his existence, he dislikes fighting unless in self defence. To meet this end he is an accomplished swordsman, quick-witted and sharp like his living swords. Zeri hates the typical translation of a demon being a bad person when the last thing he desires is to kill people of his own free will. He also fears and hates the ‘beast within’, a creature of chaos and hatred that can blind his senses and cause him to go into a berserk rage that cares little for friend or foe and only destruction can satisfy its unending hunger.
Zeri likes peaceful times, finding any place that is quiet is bliss to him, he also has a habit of reading anything available. Additionally, he doesn’t enjoy eating meat, it doesn’t sicken him but knowing that the meat was once a living creature does bother him sometimes.

Short Bio:
Though raised to be a strong leader and a fighter, the Prince of Hell, Zeriaharatsu, disliked his future position from a young age, the things he saw as a child disturbed him. He didn’t enjoy the prospect of being the king of all things evil and trained rigorously, not to be king of Hell, but to escape his fate. When reaching the age of 19 he finally fled from Hell and escaped into the world between the two true kingdoms, there hoping to find refuge away from his father and the other demons.

Appearance: She stands about 5'3" with a slender and well toned frame. Those around her often tell her to eat more, but she does eat a lot. The reason her body stays so thin and light is so she can fly; but she has not developed her wings yet. Her long raven hair has layers that surround her pale face and sickly colored lips. A single freckle is under her right eye, which is from her fathers side. Her father had three freckles under his eye which meant he was to take the place of his father, as a great count in hell. She has a strange pair of eyes, one is yellow with a cat like pupil and the other is eden colored with a normal pupil. Along her back she has two scars where her first set of wings were ripped off by demons when she was younger.
Weapons: Living Scythe - Tsuki no Hana
Katar [dual punching daggers]
Abilities:
Hell's Flame: This was a gift from her father before he was taken away. He thought her how to use his familys black-violet flame. Depenending on how she wants to use the flame, it can be harmless and very destructive.
Moon Slash: When she is using her katar, they start to shine like the moon and the is able to cause more damage when she slashes with them.
Weeping Reaper: When she is desperate enough, she will remove Tsuki no Hana from her body and use it to fight. This is not an attack, but the actual spell she needs to use so she can remove the weapon.
Silent Death: With a fast sweeping motion of her scythe, she is able to take out a large number of people.
Concealment: When her wings form, she is able to conseal them from human and lesser demon eyes. Those who are stronger than she is are able to see them.
Healing: Currently her healing skills are for minor wounds, but as time passes she will be able to heal moderate and sevear wounds.
Occupation: Owner of a Rare Item and Bookstore.
Personality: A once tormented and torturned child has turned into a promising young woman for both heaven and hell. Due to her horrible past she keeps herself locked away in her shop and hardly interacts with people she doesn't know. But, when customers some she is forced to interact due to not wanting to lose business or her home. She tries her best to avoid fights because she fears that spies form Heaven or Hell will find her. She spends most of her time in her shop, but there are times when she must leave.
Other: Tsuki no Hana isn't actually living, it is part of her. If she dies the weapon will vanish along with her. In order for her to remove the weapon from her body, she must cause intolerable pain to herself and that is why she doesn't use this weapon. It is her last resort for survival.
Short Bio:As a child, Yuki was oblivious to what she was. Her parents wanted her to live the life of a normal child as much as she could. But, that was pulled from under her when her mother was taken back to Heaven for committing treason marrying and bearing offspring with a count of Hell. Her mother was a high ranking angel in the army of God and as she went down to earth to kill the Count of Hell she fell in love with the strangely kind and caring prince who wished that he was not granted the title of Prince of Hell. On that day they abandoned their titles and vowed to make a better live for them and their child.
Yuki was 10 when her mother was taken away and her father knew that Hell would be coming for him soon. He told her all about what she was, how she was a Countess of Hell and if she were in Heaven she would be an important half angel. Before her mother left, she took her scythe and gave it to Yuki. This scythe was a living weapon, thus being bound to its owner.
For what little time her father had left with her, he tried to each her as much of his powers as he could. It would be easy for her to harness and draw upon her mothers because Yuki was granted the powers to heal everyone but herself and to fly. He taught her how to use his favored weapon a pair of katar.
One night when Yuki was 13 her father was taken away back to Hell. She did not know until she woke in the morning to an empty house. Her father and mother made sure that Yuki would be able to support herself by leaving her quite a bit of money and the house. From the age of 13 until now she has lived alone in that house.

Yuki does not care about her titles, for all she cares she is a normal person, living in the city.

Well im interested but my minds having itself a little war as to what I should do. xD Prince of hell? I'd hit that, but I don't wanna do anything major since i'm kinda gridlocked with my college work etc etc. I'm a natural demon princeling since I love demons and all their uniqueness xD

I was on crack when I wrote this roleplay. XD
I just finished reading the manga Demon Ororon and I watched Contantine the nigh before so I meshed the two together with my own ideas and this was born.

The personality is totally up to you and for strengths, he can't be too powerful, since he's just a young demon. XD
The only weakness I ever thought for him was the girl.

Guess he'll have to rely on speed and trickery, good old fashioned rope-a-dope. xD How modern are the clothing styles?

Any clothing type can go.
I often had her wearing Victorian style clothing and then she came across her mothers armor.
Medieval, Victorian, anything will go. : )

exactly what level of abilities and such are we talking here? For example typical fireball spell, how potent is the average users abilities with one? I just need to know my limits so I don't create something OTT xD (its a bad habit of mine)

Well, my character has a living weapon inside of her.
She has to rip it from her body to be able to use it.

She also controls a black/violet flame that can engulf a building.
But, she's not strong enough for that.


If you give me a list of things you want to use, I will tell you if they are to powerful.
But, I am pretty flexible.
I just don't want someone using that will kill everyone off.

lol armageddon spells: no no

I just like over the top attacks (kamehameha mofo!) but in this case my abilities will concentrate on my characters weapons (dual katana ftw <.<) so such things as 'Silver Flash' basically warping past and cutting opponents or sending beam slashes at them and all that funky jazz xD

If I am able to get great people to join, then this roleplay will kick ass.
Then we can use powerful attacks and stuff.
