  As you can see, you will be asked for your race. Now, to make sure that this thing doesn't turn out into a mess of hybrids, there is a restriction on the races: No combinations in the trend of '1/4 cat, 1/4 wolf, 2/4 dog demon' (which doesn't make any sense anyhow), you're either pure or half. 1/3 can pass if you've got a good story.
  Other than that, you can pick whatever race you want to be, as long as it's nothing ostentatious or rule-breaking.

• Guide
  
  This is a guide to filling out the profile and making a character for Corbin High. Please don't use this for your own thread without permission, because making this took me a while.
  
• Part One: Identification
  The first part is one of the easiest to fill in. To begin with, you need a first name. It could be your own name, a real one, a made-up one,... If you need help finding names, there are several good sites out there such as Behind The Name (which also displays the etymology and the history of the name, and has name themes) and Baby Names World (also shows the meaning and the origin). Same deal for the last name, if you need a site to help you along, then I suggest Behind The Name (surnames' version), Last Name Meanings (here you can find surnames of various origins, together with their origins) and Ancestor Search (an alphabetical list of surnames and their meanings). Make sure that your first and last name are in accordance with each other and your birthplace. It doesn't make a lot of sense if your first name is English, your last name Japanese and your birthplace Africa. Be a bit realistic in this.
  
  Well, gender is self-explaining, but when you pick a name make sure that it's according to your gender as well, unless you've got a good story to back it up. After all, what's the use of having a well-picked name that fits in with your whole background, if it is the wrong gender? Tiny details like that can ruin or complete your profile.
  
  For the Race, re-read the part under the profile code in the 'Registration' post (which is the previous one).
  
  Age is self-explanatory again (though keep in mind that you need to be at least 22 if you want to be a teacher unless you've got a good reason to back it up), and we talked about having your birthplace in accordance with the rest of your profile already. Same goes for Current Residence.
  
• Part Two: Appearance
  This part is fairly easy as well. You may add a picture, though follow Menewsha's rules and don't use pictures that aren't yours. A picture isn't a substitute for a description, though, so you still have to fill out this part regardless.
  
  The Face part asks for details on the face, such as shape, eye colour, hair colour, hair length, lips, skin colour and the likes. Body is where you put down the description of the rest of your character, such as how tall they are, how much they weigh, what their body type is, their good and bad features, etc...
  
  Distinguishing Marks is rather self-explanatory and simply asks for any marks that your character has on them that sets them apart from others, such as freckles, scars and tattoos.
  
  Clothing Style is also self-explanatory, and if you character wears any jewelry you can put that here as well. You basically write down your character's wardrobe's contents in here.
  
• Part Three: History
  The first three fields are simple ones: Parents asks for you to state your character's parents, Siblings asks the same kind of thing and Marital Status can be left out if you don't have an answer for it yet. The most common statuses can be found at this page from the Wikipedia. The fourth field, however, is a bit more difficult since you have to write a coherent text that fits together logically and that explains your character's background. When making a story, there are a couple of short questions that help you round it out: "Who, what, when, where and why".
  
• Part Five: Other
  This is the easiest part of them all. Interests simply asks for what interests your character, what their hobbies are and what they do in their free time. Pet(s) asks what kind of pet (or pets if they've got more than one) your character has, what their name is and how they look like. Again, don't go over the top.
  
  
  As you can see, there is no part that asks for your character's personality. This is because I think that it's more fun to discover that on your own, rather than know beforehand how someone will react.

  Story: Born in England, Dustin quickly grew up to be an adaptable & versatile but inconsistent & inquisitive person. His name was given to him by his mother, who was a mythology-fanatic, as 'Dustin' is derived from 'Torsten' which means 'Thor's Stone'. After graduating from high school, Dustin left to pursue a higher education and finally became a teacher after several more years. However, his life is still rather sporadic and his attention is hard to keep, though his parents hope that teaching will give him something to focus on.

Being discovered during rebuilding, she was repaired and - no longer having a legal owner - became the possession of the state. For the recent part of her life, she has been employed in places where it would be too dangerous to send an actual human - such as, briefly, a thaumic power station - or where she can be safely put out of the way. Recently, she was given possession of herself as part of the Golem Empancipation drive, as well as significant financial support; enough for her small needs. She chose to come to the school - well, partly - in order to find some sort of qualification, so that she can avoid merely being an object again.

  Found in a small town when she was just a baby, she lived in a small shack just to the outside of the town, where people would take turns bringing her food. After killing a man who tried to rape her, she fled to the city. There she met a young man, and found herself in love. After a few years of wandering, she settled down at Corbin High. Looking for an education and hoping to get out and go back to her boyfriend as quickly as possible. She spends much of her class time studying and attempting to work ahead. She is always friendly however, and will stop whatever she is doing in order to help somebody with whatever they need help with. Her past has led her to be cautious of others, and she often will avoid going anywhere with males, if there is nobody else around.

  Story: Coming from unknown origins, Bradley was one of many healthy orphans chosen for a special test project known to the military as HumanPlus[H+/Human+], wherein magic and science was combined to permanently enhance the body in its early stages by injecting chemicals and performing rituals that would react with the chemicals and activate dormant features that would fuse with the body. The project was tested on older humans at first but with age setting in so was a defensive system that was not susceptible to the changes, unlike a child's body which was essentially weaker and would not so easily reject the process.
  The project in question would enhance the subjects reflexes and strength. The strength came from high density muscles. One of the early problems quickly showed that bones were being crushed under the strain of the weight so more processes had to be developed to combat such adverse effects, such as bone chemicals being injected directly into the bones directly threatened by this development (which in turn would damage other bones later).
  Other enhancements at later stages would be more chemicals in the eyes and rituals to activate a night sight, making the subject useful in both night and day situations and certain area's of the brain were numbed out slightly, such as pain receptors, making the subject a relentless attacker in spite of injuries, including eventually fatal damages. The final change would be dulling the senses that cause attraction, mental or physical, to anyone or anything.
  Bradley herself was a later model of the project but is rumored to be the prototype for a new range of HumanPlus soldiers known as "H++"

  Face: She has fiery red hair that just barely reaches down to her shoulders, and pieces of her hair often fall in her face. She has bright green eyes and a cold expression. Although even as her expression may be cold her eyes are always dancing with her fiery spirit.
  Body: She is short, only 5'2, and weighs 125 lb. She has a curvy figure and is a little stocky from physical training that she has had. Also from that same training there isn't an ounce of fat on her, half because she doesn't eat much, and half because she works out so often that she could eat like a cow and still not gain any weight. Even though she is small, she is very strong. She also has Fox ears and a fox tail that are the same color red as he hair, except the tips are colored black, and she has short fangs and claws.
  Distinguishing Marks: Well, I would have to say her ears and tail usually make her pretty easy to spot, and on top of that her eyes contrast greatly with the color of her hair. Other than that, the only thing that she ever has 24/7 is the collar she wears.
  Clothing Style: As casually dressing and walking around places she knows well she is normally wearing black baggy jeans that are so big on her that they just barely stay up on her hips, and a black sleeveless shirt that fits her figure nicely. She is always wearing a black old looking leather collar that hangs loosely from her neck, and she never really wears shoes. Although her feet never seem to get to dirty anyways. When she is traveling, going out in public, or is some place she hasn't been before, she is wearing the same general pants, shirt and collar, but she also wears black leather arm guards strapped to her forearms and a katana, chain, and 2 foot long pipe is strapped to her waist with a long strip of leather rather than a belt. Every once in a while she wears a huge black cloak that can completely conceals her.

  Story: I want to leave most of her story to be found out in the rp (that is if you accept me of course) because it is more fun when you are still learning things as you go. But basically you could say that she lived in the forest all her life. Although the forest she lived in was huge. Yuki had her traveling from one place to the next all the time, but she was always somewhere in the forest or close to the forest. Anywhere outside in the trees feels like her home. Her father died when she was 3, her mother died when she was 8, and the one taking care of her after her mother died is an elder demon she calls Yuki-sama. She has learned a lot and she is a fast learner, but Yuki feels that she would be able to learn more if she went to this school. She personally has no interest for going to this school, but on the other hand, she doesn't exactly have a great relationship with Yuki either. That is basically why she is going to this school.

  Interests: She enjoys reading and wants to learn how to cast spells. She loves to fight, real or play-fighting, and she absolutely loves anything with a blade on it. Yeah I only go on Gaia to mess with my avatar, I barely ever socialize on there nor RP, but on this site its easier to talk to people xD *cursesJoshimitsurandomly* Meh oh well -.-..

Well, gaia is a ginormous site - it's difficult to find people to talk to, because it's not so close knit a community as this seems to be ^^

• I used to get a lot more on Gaia, but ever since things started seriously flipping (games not working and marketplace changing), the only thing I'm doing there is PM'ing, playing around with my avatar and posting in this one guild.
  
  Gaia has turned into a site like Neopets. It used to be a smaller and better community with people worried about each other and willing to help out. Now it's full with 'newbie' haters and stubborn people that don't even want to listen to what other people have to say. Just like Neopets does now, it appears to be a fun community on the surface, but when you dig deeper then you'll find out that there's no big community but there are several cliques and loners.

Story: He is the son of Apollo, but is not nearly as powerful as him. He was left with his mother Andrea who treated him as a freak because of the disasters he caused. Anything giving off heat would shatter if he touched it. Of course she didnt know he was the son of Apollo because he had come in a human form to her. He eventually ran off. He took a bus to the Colloseum because he had always wanted to see it for no reason he knew. And as he walked around it he noticed a large school, it seemed out of place and no one seemed to be able to see it. He decided to take a closer look at it. Eventually that "Closer look" Led for him to entering this school...

I mainly use gaia... I joined Menewsha two days ago and am in love with it. I think like 70% of the people are lit which I love. Also someone new can have a conversation with someone old! Its a lot friendlier than Gaia.
But one thing I dislike is your gold being displayed, thats risky in my opinion.
